i agree azn, i dont think T3 was terrible, but i thought it was .. disposable. I watched it once and doubt i'd see it many more times ever again lol

More than anything, I think I respected the way they ended T3 (I thought the predictable way to go would be to stop Judgment Day again). Also, the T-X was really hot 😍

International ratings agency Standard and Poor's today downgraded its outlook on Britain's economy to 'negative' from 'stable' due to the country's deteriorating public finances.
The change may eventually lead to S&P's downgrading Britain's top-level sovereign credit ratings, the agency warned in a statement.
'The outlook revision is based on our view that, even factoring in further fiscal tightening, the UK's net general government debt burden may approach 100% of GDP and remain near that level in the medium term,' S&P said.

A downgrade of a credit rating can have significant consequences for a country, pushing up the interest rates demanded by savers to buy new debt, increasingly being issued to help cover soaring budget deficits.

Currently we (the US) are on track to hit 100% of GDP in the next few years:scared:.

Morning Everyone! :hello: Though it looks like I just missed a sizable group.

Happy Friday everyone! Any good plans for the memorial day weekend? I know Lyss is gonna go visit her friends in Beantown.... what about the rest of ya...

Tonight we're throwing a male version of a wedding shower for a friend as all the girls are at the actual wedding shower. We're golfing, grilling and playing caps. 😀

Hey hey everyone...still gonna be pretty much MIA today. Looking for apartments is consuming 110% of my attention 👎

Alas, no really fun or exciting plans for this weekend either. Might go climbing though 😀

Caps is the best drinking game in the world! Two teams of 2 sit approximately 12 feet apart. In front of each team is a 12 oz cup filled with your drink of choice. The teams then alternate attempting to throw bottle caps into the opposing teams cup. If a cap is made in your cup, your team has one rebuttal shot to cancel out the score, if missed your team has to consume the contents of your cup. The game is played up to 8, must win by two.

From what I've found it seems to be a Minnesota game. The only people who knew it at undergrad were those from MN.

Debating whether to hop on a train to Baltimore this weekend (Sat and Sun). It'll probably be the last time I can visit for a couple blue moons (i.e. Wisconsin is too far away from the east coast for short jaunts)

Isn't that like beer pong, but with alcohol and bottle caps?

Yeah, kind of. It's all very competitive though. The greatest game on record was between my friend Adam and I. I eventually won 17 -15 and had 7 rebuttals. The game usually conjures up some good conversation as well.

nah baltimore is lame go to atlantic city 🙂

Hrmm I'd consider it but both of my roommates are out for the weekend (going home) and most of my friends have already skipped town.. not a bad idea though

Speaking of which, I'm going to Vegas next weekend!

Nice, nice, nice... don't do anything you wouldn't do if you weren't in Vegas.

Last month, I won a beer pong game playing as a 2 vs. 1 handicap 🙂

<----- Jealous!

Haha, I think it'll be pretty chill. Gamble a bit, but mostly R&R. My brother's playing in one of the minor WSOP tournaments so I'm tagging along.

With all the Muse talk the other day, I finally bought the rest of the album. Now I can't go run without it playing 😍

Swarley, ya there ?

oh wow. when I was in NYC, I would have been numb to this list. Now that I am back in Philly, the first thing I thought was "is there a half price Wednesday?"

Hahaha yes, for some reason it's a Philly thing to have a half off day or time period. I distinctly remember Mad Mex having like a half off on burritos/tacos in the afternoon if you're a student
