I made a dry-run at the appropriate time from my apt to school for the first day of orientation (starts at 12:30).

It went well. Traffic wasn't awful, made it in <25 min.

the current plan is to keep the 2013 in the pre-allo forum for the time being.
 
I would caution against food shopping when you are extremely hungry. I think I'm now super-WalMart's favorite customer, lol.

I did too much shopping while I was in Seattle! I haven't really bought new clothes for at least a year, more like two, but the main culprit is my new airbed so I don't have to sleep on the floor my first night in my apartment. I think I need to mail a box to myself or my suitcases are going to be overweight.

Ooh, if my bag is over 50 but under 70, it's only a 40 fee. Need to finish packing and see how much I'm over. I suspect I have more than 20 pounds of extra stuff though. 🙁

So I just came back from the apple store. Told them what happened.

5 minutes later-new iPod touch.

They guy looked at me and said, "I am just going to replace it." So then I whispered my thanks and told him it meant A LOT TO ME, since a new one is $229 and I am required to have a PDA type thing that runs epocrates for our clinical medicine class. I am accrediting this random but so dear act of kindess not to the boobs-I think he noticed the desperation in my face. 😳

Wow, that is really close....I was multimodal too, and most people are, but they told us to concentrate on our highest number. But yours are really balanced.

I had a classmate that lives in my apartment complex call me at midnight last night to kill a cockroach. Definitely had nightmares about those last night.

I used to work out and go grocery shopping-one time I came home with water, orange juice, apple juice, vitamin water, Gatorade and milk. The last time I did that for sure.....

I just got an unexpected extra paycheck (at least, I think it's extra... Maybe I've miscounted?). I probably would have told my PI, but Mr. Quirks has guilted me into definitely telling my PI. I hope they don't take it away. 🙁
 
So I saw a bunch of hitch hikers yesterday... it was interesting... I am wondering if anyone actually picks up hitch hikers...
 
So I kind of went crazy and bought a bunch of dressy clothes yesterday and a pair of nice shoes. If I wasn't sure before, now I'm definitely broke :laugh:

I never have, but I'm sure someone picks them up; otherwise, people would stop hitchhiking 😛

Is that for school or just in general? I remember always buying new clothes for that first day back :laugh:
