I live with my wife, and we have a 660sq ft apt (1bdrm) for $1,440 (normal for the area)... it's so ******edly expensive 🙁 Good thing wifey's got a good job.

Sooo boring. My advisor was hilarious though, he was like
-"so you really haven't learned anything at orientation so far huh?"
-(our table shakes our heads)
-"well, don't expect it to get any more interesting, its basically a load of crap"

. I like him.

I felt like my eyes were going to melt after staring at projectors and computer screens for the better part of the day. yeesh. I guess 4-8 hours of class each day wont be much better though...🙄

LOL, you betta recognize. Several of my friends whom are huge fans of MMA or have been training for years dragged me along. I'm glad they did because I really enjoy it

Nope, I will probably beat you to it😛

So I got my parking permit ($85 for the whole year makes me 😍 UTSW even more). I also turned in my forms (read got lost and gave myself a self tour of the campus), and finished my 4th day of shopping. My mom is freaking out and thinking that I am gonna starve to death since I have never lived away from home. When I was at UCLA, I used to go home every weekend and get food from there. I think it will be a nice change being more independent. Oh and trying to find all the stores gave me a good idea of where things are in Dallas, and I am starting to feel a lot more comfortable with the city. Oh yeah and it is funny how everyone was scaring me about Dallas traffic Try driving on the 405 during rush hour and then lets talk about traffic... except for you NYC people, you guys are all psycho... that traffic freaked me out...

by 'age blind' i mean that we are just the "class of 2013" and it doesnt matter whether some of us just got out of college or whether some have been working for x years and are married and all the combinations in between.; it makes us a good group 🙂

yeah.. nyc traffic can be crazy. but it really seems to me that people's driving skills have deteriorated
