Three more hours til the weekend. Definitely looking forward to cleaning out the DVR this weekend... (Private Practice & Greys from yesterday, a couple episodes of Doctor to Doctor I haven't seen, and a few random other things)

Because some people like to preserve a little bit of anonymity. The fact is that some adcom members do lurk on these forums- I know for a FACT that an adcom member from at least one of my schools is on here fairly regularly, and another friend of mine was actually contacted BY NAME by an adcom member through SDN! If the c/o 2013 fb group was public, they could easily put faces with names. At this point, I don't really care- I crossed the anonymity bridge when I made my MDApps- but for some people who are still waiting on their top choices, it makes some sense.

Hence, I don't see why berk and aznboy don't join the fb group... it's pretty safe; i guess they just don't love us anymore 🙁

I watched Milk though ( a recommendation from the guy sitting next to me on the flight back from NYC)... lets just say it is not my cup of tea🙄

I got another hot date tonight. This time it actually is a date (no extra parties). I think we are going to the movies. I want to see bride wars lol he wants valkyrie (snooze)

I think I am between tarnishing my image of Jim Carrey and seeing Yes Man -or- watching some older movie called Fracture in his basement... decisions decisions. any advice?

Yes Man was fine; I think most of the criticism has come from it being somewhat similar to Liar Liar, which wasn't a problem for me since I hadn't seen Liar Liar- but I did afterwards, and while the premises are similar, they're different enough that I don't think that you'll be too bored if you've already seen Liar Liar.

Its cuz we are all too awesome... and it is the beginning of the quarter/ semester/ winter break... plus after getting to know the faces behind the avatars, there is a new level of comfort and familiarity, which makes it easier to communicate. Also, there are a lot of football games going on, so a lot of people like to watch and discuss those, plus all the relationship advice that has been given is enough to put Dear Abby out of business:laugh:
