Are there any other broadcast media fans? I am watching OTA DTV right now, and I couldn't be any happier. I also regularly listen to NPR shows 🙂

Yes, ditto, ditto, ditto. My s.o. is plenty smart, but he's much more relaxed about some things than I am. I like that he's more grounded (not to mention going to have a job) while I'm in school. Definitely I go for the intellectual types.
 
I just ate a caramel apple with pecans, toffee, and covered in in white, milk and dark chocolate...😀

I love spring cleaning my computer. I completely get ya yoda.

And I'm not only still under the weather, but also very female this weekend. Brownies all around! woo!

Back on the exercise bandwagon monday. yoga and walks. walk/run by midweek and runs by next weekend.
 
Pretty good. I visited my grandparents today and didn't get back till this evening. So now I'm just sitting around relaxing.

Yes I like PR too. I basically have a slight obsession with reality tv - I love all reality tv because I think the interpersonal relationships are interesting and it's fun to judge people (that are willing to be judged). 😀

me 3... 2 1 page papers, 1 3-4 page paper, 1 presentation, 1 chapter of turkish, type up my Turkish paper, research for the papers/presentation, read for all my classes... I wonder if there are enough hours in the day...

I'll be in NYC and he will be in NJ. But considering we were 4 hours away before, we are ecstatic to be so close. We are hoping he gets accepted to a law school in NYC eventually so he can be even closer.

Idk kids are a pain in my ass haha jk. I think it's because I'm very motherly and I've been looking forward to starting a family for years BUT at the same time I love my independence and know from experience that life as you know it ends as soon as you say you are pregnant. so I'm conflicted. I think it's also my parents are pretty young (they were married at 18 and had me at 23) & my bf's parents are older so he wants to be younger parents. Sorry that's such a long convoluted answer!

HaHa you just missed me but we can commiserate next time we are on. Your post is exactly how I feel. I see my friends getting married or engaged (some even having kids!) but we both knew what we were getting into & this will be one of the many sacrifices of being a doctor. It would make no sense to propose, especially if you can't guarantee you will be together at school. Your gf is just probably nervous because you and she both know that med school is like a relationship food processor 😀 I know I'm terrified hehe. If you wanna get her a really nice anniversary present get her a decently priced promise ring. She'll have something shiny to show her friends & you can show her that you aren't going anywhere without actually proposing (not that you need a ring to do this obviously) -or- write her a beautiful card haha. Me and my bf did long distance and if you hang on & do whatever it takes to support each other you will make it through. If you really want to be married & be together for the rest of your life, then there is no rush to do it prematurely! I'm sure Mrs Spurs 100% understands. she sounds like a cool girl 😉
