Class of 2013!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Yah in a lot of college campuses there are a lot of students sleeping in the parking lots in their cars... Can you go to the couches in the library and sleep there?

Yeah we have no couches. As far as I know.

And, Anotherface, I didn't say the LOI was for Columbia.

Isn't it illegal to sleep in your car? I never quite understood the rationale for that law.

I hope not. I used to sleep in my car in the parking deck at school ALL the time. One semester when I had a class from 8:00-9:15 on Tuesdays/Thursdays and then not another until 12:00, I would go to my car and sleep between classes.

And apparently I'm in 11th place for posts in this thread? That's just unacceptable. 🙁 I at least want to be in the Top 10!

If this was American Idol I wouldn't have even made it on the tour.

So when I lived in Houston for 2 years there was a Sonic about a mile from my house. It quickly became my favorite thing about Texas (really the only thing I liked about Texas besides the people) and I ate there 2-3 times a week. I was sad when we moved back to Richmond because the nearest Sonics were 37 miles south and 44 miles north of where I live...

There's a new Sonic that's been under construction for about the past month or so, and it's ~4 miles from my house. I just drove by it on the way to work and it's OPEN! :soexcited: I'm getting ready for a Sonic eating marathon!

Too bad I don't eat meat (except for fish) anymore... I'll be stuck eating grilled cheese, fries, tater tots, and slushies.

..and feeling slightly ill. What unfortunate malady have I come down with now?!🙁

Not exactly a bad alternative 👍

Speaking of American Idol, is anybody else watching tonight? I am SO excited because they're going back to the old format for the semi-finals (smaller groups that only perform once and then the top 3 from that group make it into the top 12, and then the last week there is a wildcard!).

Plus, we get to see what happens with the disaster known as Tatiana del Toro on live TV! I'm actually rooting for her - I think she's hilarious.

MCW Wait LIst interview...

Check my MD apps and tell me if I should go.

Difficulty: I have to ask dad for the $$$ to go.

I'm gonna hold onto the spot for at least a few weeks to hear back from CMS/VCU/Miami. If anything comes through from those, I'll let it go with a quickness. I just hear good things about MCW (mostly that it is like Creighton, and I really liked Creighton).

Yeah, I'd hold onto it for a while and see how you feel in a couple weeks. Interviewing for a WL spot is not cool, though. Why spend all that money and effort if you don't even have a chance of being accepted right off the bat? 👎

Sounds like a plan.

Haha, looks like I'm solidly in 4th. Berken had better watch out though, I'm gaining!

Interestingly, slightly less than half of my posts have been in this thread. 😀

Almost time for lunch...

Do I want Hunan Shrimp, Pad Thai with Tofu, an omelet on a bagel, McDonald's, or something from the cafeteria????

hunan shrimp or pad thai sound delicious.

Oh wait, I think my boss ordered pizza for us today...

We were supposed to have a meeting, but then it was cancelled, and now apparently we're going to have it over pizza?

I don't know what's going on. 😕

Mmmm I'm hungry too. But I can't eat for another hour or so.

i thought ooples and banoonoos were particularly hilarious when i was a kid.

it took me several years to realize the purpose of the song was to help kids learn their vowels.
