I'm waiting on my clothes to dry. I placed them in the drier earlier tonight, but when I returned for my clothes they were still wet so I have to wait until the cycle finishes once again. I suspect someone switched my clothes out and set their raggedy garment in there to dry in place of mine. At least I didn't get anything other than my drying time stolen this time around.

Long story: I wanted to know if the way I'd chose to translate "What's the surprise? I'm so impatient!" was correct and context-appropriate because I was writing it on the FB wall of one of my French teachers. (It's been a couple of years since I've taken French classes and, as it turns out, my translation was 100% correct. I just wanted the extra reassurance so that the entire French department reading the post wouldn't think MY GOD, HOW DID WE GRADUATE THIS *****?).

Apparently I should have started a separate thread for each phrase. 🙄
