Well my new schedule is 8:30-4:30 M-F, which works out to 40 hours a week, so there's no need for overtime pay.

So your PI just shifted your schedule 1 1/2 hours earlier? Is that because there are more morning patients that you can recruit?

Have any of you had to deal with people stealing your food?
Someone has been stealing my food and though I have a good idea who it may be, I do not want to assume anything and cause unnecessary drama. I need to find a way to figure this out and to get back at whoever is doing this. My instinct is telling me ex lax, but I don't want to waste my food in hopes that the thief will strike again. That and I don't know whether the ex lax is still effective after heated/cooked.

Its essentially an apartment, but I don't like calling it an apartment because it is on campus and it is not the greatest living space .

It has been happening all semester and though I have tried not to stress it, this has now been going on for way to long. That and I have no respect for rats who are willing to wrong me behind my back, but cannot look me straight in the face.

In any case, I really hate stressing it, but I have let this go on way too long. Obviously, this it is not a one time thing, which is the reason why I have to do something about it.

Also, make sure you put it in some very spicy or very sweet food if you can, so that you mask the flavor of whatever you put in it.

And remove a piece (of whatever it is) if you want him to go for it. Food thieves tend to count on the fact that you 'won't remember quite how much food was missing'.
