Thanks. Also, how do you feel about Yale? Though they have no class rank and the env't is pretty chill, some of the people I met seemed uptight.

New Haven was a little small for my tastes, but I did like their library 🙂

If Yale would 1) accept me and 2) give me less than $30,000 of debt, I would consider them over Hopkins.

You mean like over 4 years? Their unit loan last year was 18k, so that's 72k plus interest.

Speaking of financial aid, I've JUST REALIZED that I've missed a priority fin aid deadline. :smack: I don't know what's wrong with me, but I'm glad I waited so long to totally and completely fall apart.

Touring the library was the high point of my day at Yale. Yale has great facilities and I would go there if I were accepted and was given a good fin aid package. The only reason I like Mount Sinai and P&S higher than Yale is that I there is more to do in NYC and the student body at those schools seemed more affable.

Well, Hopkins was 20,000/year and I mean it's really no contest then.

Thankfully this school was not really top of my list. Maybe I should just withdraw.

Edit: Wait no this is crazy talk! I will send in my forms and at least get my packages. I will not be defeated by my laziness!!!

Yale's location is a huge deterrent as well. I had to drive 11 hours in order to not spend a grand for round trip airfare. It's far enough from NYC for its location to be an inconvenience.

Well yeah, it's not the same as being right in the city at all. But for about 11 dollars on Metro North you can make weekend trips. And with anonymous pass/fail, there would be time for weekend trips. 😀
 
So as I normally do when i am studying or writing a paper, I decided to clean. First I cleaned my workspace in my lab, and then I cleaned my laptop with the EtOH from lab😀

Back to paper writing....
