Anywho, in other news, the Match is tomorrow, and I'm getting excited reading all the "countdown" threads. Good luck c/o 2009ers!!!

I can't imagine what it must be like to wait to find out if you've matched, and then waiting to find out where you'll be. I think I'll have to be sedated heavily in order to not have a stroke. Ketamine. I hear ketamine works.
 
Today, I realized that yesterday I protein assayed the wrong set of lysates that had already been western blotted. FML.

😀 it's kinda how I feel about the med school application process and SDN. The Inferno is surprisingly applicable. There are certainly a few people on this website I wouldn't mind seeing swimming in poop or stuck in the frozen lake having their heads chewed on by Satan.

Alas, I was told by the elders that my modly powers do not allow me to "ban people who bug", which is what I was excited about doing. It was very disappointing, and I'm still hoping they change their minds...

Grr. I still think that the actions that warrant a ban or post hold are arbitrarily set. You can offend vast swaths of people but a terse description of a sex act is an instant no-no. Frankly, I'm more afraid of the kiddies being corrupted by racist elitists like He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named.
 
I made it home... only to set off the house alarm, have to call the people so they didn't send out the police, and hit my head very hard on the upper kitchen cabinets (hard enough for a knot and cut).
