I guess I am an exception when it comes to shaving...I've never had to shave in my life....yep I got those weird genes. I cannot grow hair on my face, legs, and arms to save my soul...I blame it on my grandmothers Native American Heritage :laugh:

Mr. Nola is far neater than I am.

In general, though, guys' bathrooms just somehow tend to have a worse smell. I lived across the hall from one for half of my junior year. P U...I think we need to have a nose-pinching smilie. Cause that was gross.

I love DC! My parents moved here from VA in 2002. They don't actually live in the US but they're here often enough that they keep a place. They're in the country for a few weeks so I'm visiting for Easter. 😀

And Hawaii, hmm.... I should go there someday too! Anywhere with tasty pineapple is a worthy place to go!

Yeah, LOR is for schools I'm waitlisted at, and I guess Georgetown too (they haven't made a decision on me yet). I started applying right when I started my job so I didn't get a letter from her, but I interviewed pretty late in general and kept getting asked why I didn't have a letter from her.

Girl's bathrooms can get pretty gross too... But gross guy bathrooms generally top gross girl bathrooms.

Man I am so glad to be out of communal bathrooms. I lived in dorms for eight years. Ugh.

Even moving in with my brother would be a welcome change. I can keep it clean enough with just the two of us and he's not too bad.
 
You should see my computer setup at home. I have to use the desktop for internet access because I took our router to my apartment. Additionally, my ethernet card doesn't work so I can't plug directly into the modem. So I'm playing music off the laptop and typing the paper but using the desktop for net access, heh.

I had such a crazy night/morning guys... During the night I woke up and had to throw up because I guess I ate some funky sushi last night.. 😱

then this morning i couldnt find my wallet!!!:scared::scared: I had my dad's card in there too because I had to take care of something.:scared::scared: after canceling his card, I caleld the movie theater I was at last night and after being on hold for 30 min they said they found it!!!! sigh... so today before getting my new pointe shoes (my teacher said that mine are too old and she is very knowledgable about this particular company that makes shoes) i need to pick up my wallet from the theater..


EDIT: OHhh!! I got TOP! hehe

So I accidentally let it slip in front of my dad that I find biostats hard :smack:

I mean, I tried to calculate what I would need to graduate with a 3.5, and I would need to get a GPA of -1.083:laugh:, but now he is constantly telling me how I need to study and can't let my grades slip and so on and so forth...🙁

But alas, this comes with the territory of being Indian... yah, I am spoiled when it comes to other matters but when it comes to grades😱
 
Oh yeah, and the other day, my dad told me that I really need to start studying more...

I agree, I've lived with girls back in undergrad. You'd think girls would be cleaner than guys in general, but no way, no how. At least not the girls I lived with. They're just like any other career-oriented people, too much attention on work/school/career and not as much attention on cleanliness. Nothing wrong with that of course.. just don't fall into the trap of thinking that these girls are going to be the female versions of Mr. Clean...

The weather outside is nasty, I went outside to deposit checks, mail out stuff, stop by the library to pick up some books, get some generic sushi from FroGro for lunch and that's all I want to do outside of the house today. I ain't going anywhere, gotta let my muscles repair themselves from the pounding I put them through yesterday, least of all doing 300 lunges!!

:laugh: Well I think my parents are assuming I'm going to go into one of the higher paying fields. So I suppose I could still mildly disappoint them.

But as long as I'm not asking them for money I think they're fairly content with whatever I'm doing.
