Midterm in 1 hour 43 minutes...

i just realized that UTSW has the clause that you need to maintain your grades... that means I cannot really start slacking off, because if I get lower than my average grades, then they could revoke my acceptance😱

But I still do not wanna study😳

sorry to hear that...and I was just getting ready to share how nervous I feel about schools letting waitlisters where they stand right now. But that news always puts things in perspective.

I'll definitely keep her (and her family) in my prayers

Thanks. She's doing pretty well with it, but I dont think they grasp the magnitude of the dx yet. IveyKate is only 7 months (and the parents are only 21&22), so it was an early dx which is good. Her seizures have been pretty controlled the last couple months.

Yeah, it's been a pretty busy day over here as well. Patients, then a 2-hour staff meeting (I think that's a record).

I didn't know the significance of 4/20 either until you guys explained it here. 🙁 Makes me wonder what else I am innocently oblivious to. I guess non-alcohol drug culture is generally outside of my sphere of knowledge.

Anyway, I'm happy! 😀 My PI just looked at my (I thought crappy) data and seems confident that I'll finish my project before I leave! :soexcited: The best part is if I can get it done really quickly once I come back from vacation, then I can leave earlier than I thought I might have to stay till.

Ironically, if I wasn't going on my trip, I'd be able to finish sooner, but I don't want to have to freeze my cells in the middle and lose a data point so I have to wait to infect the next batch when I come back.
 
Off to gym...my boss is letting me leave early. He said he sees tension/nervousness in my face...and he suspected why :laugh::laugh:

hopefully after my workout I'll be chill!

FInished my First Final today. 2 more to go, next week lol.


You know what sucks about being single? YOu h ave to actually workout and eat right or you'll never get any. GAH
 
Yay, done with biostats midterm.

It was hard... doing variance and sd by hand is not fun, and my professor is weird and she does not like scientific calculators, so I had to use a dinky calculator...🙁

Oh well, it is over...😀
