Some of these are pretty easy. Black or White was MJ overcoming racial discrimination.
Unpretty was about finding an internal comfort with one's self, rather than succumbing to the external pressures of popular media and peers.
Stan was about the dangers of fandom. Individuals who delude themselves in the lives of celebrities to the point of a total disconnect from reality and those around them.
It was a good day[FONT=Verdana[B]] obviously refers to the days of the Great Sioux War from 1876 to 1877. If you look at the lyrics it is obviously commemorating a conversation between Crazy Horse and Sitting Bull as they describe the new Dakota and Montana Territories. [/B].
