I'm such a *******... Attempted to send mine from Interfolio to AMCAS on Monday, and somehow managed to not click all the way through the delivery. So as of this morning, they are finally on their way 😳

How long did it take yours? Interfolio told me a week...

Its ok I have you beat....I sent the wrong documents to 5 schools...and didnt realize it till a week later.

I sent the AMCAS LOR request forms instead of the actual LOR to 5 schools...grr


It took mine 8 business days.

Haha. I'm still a little worried.. I didn't send out LOR requests from AMCAS bc my letters were already recieved waaay before it opened. However, I did create all the files for letters in AMCAS and matched the numbers up from Interfolio (the Interfolio ID and the AMCAS LOR ID) for my delivery, so hopefully they'll figure it out.

I decided not to go into work today since things are really slow and I have some serious secondarying to do. Yesterday I finished two, and today I'm going to try and top that. We'll see!

I have a question about LORs though. Mine were all dealt with by my pre-med committee, and I received an email from VirtualEvals about how they got them, and how they were sent already everywhere (except UCLA cause they don't take VirtualEvals...not exactly sure what I'm going to do about that). Anywho, I know AMCAS takes forever to show that they've received them, but what about the individual schools? How long should I expect for it to take for the schools to just look up the letters on VirtualEvals?

Gooood job LET! Get 'em done! 5 hours to go at work. Finally got confirmation that Interfolio is sending everything over to AMCAS..my secondary, fee, and one transcript have been recieved so the file is coming along! 🙂🙂

Yay! Passed the halfway mark!

Sending in a secondary today, so I'm pretty happy about that.
 
Haha you lucky East-Coasters...I'm still sitting at work (I had to go after all, I forgot a patient was coming today...ooops!) and I finished my Sinai application but can't submit until I have a picture taken 😎. Which is annoying. I am NOT photogenic so staged pictures are never a good idea....

Once this is done though I'll officially be done with all the "easy" secondaries and will have to deal with the ones I REALLY don't want to deal with. Gah!

Pictures... Ugh! I had headshots taken for my senior voice recital, so I used those last year, and they are definitely being used again...

29 minutes left at work!

That's nice! I didn't get any headshots done for my recital, which is too bad. That would really come in handy right now.

I officially became one of those people who doesn't finish a secondary...gave up on Pritzker cause that essay about how well you fit their mission statement just was not working for me. Oh well! Down to 28 secondaries now...

and yay for being almost done with work, gradu8! Any more secondaries today?

Nope 🙁 South Al is a snail mail, so it'll take awhile. Alabama's first day (MSAR stats) is August 1, so it won't be headed my way for a couple weeks... Tulane is... Tulane 🙂)), and I'm in limboland with the TN schools so it's just sitting and waiting right now!

complete at 2 more schools today...GW and ECU...hooray!, still waiting on BU though...it seems like I should get it today or tommorow, but we will see.

No worries, gradu8! Really, I have enough to do even without the Tulane one. I should be doing the applications I have instead of worrying about the ones I don't have yet.

Good progress!! It's a decent day at work.. I'll be glad to see Friday (workday part) come and go... It's Orientation & Preview for Fall, and everyone is gonna be pissed when they don't have money/enough money/any money. The line at my door will be insane from 8-5. But thennnn it's the weekend!

I'm on call tonight. I call it "sparkle pager" call for those of you who watch Grey's. My attending OB/GYN calls, I decide if I want to go or not 🙂🙂 Not like I've ever turned DOWN a call, but it's cool. Hoping for lots of babies tonight!

with 12000 applicants, Im pretty sure its Optional, lol....i wonder whether thoseschools that get crap loads of applicants actually read all the essays and Personal statements.
