I have no idea. They are incredibly annoying and I find it hard to believe that they would trick anyone into giving them money... but they must work or else they wouldn't be calling all the time. I think they use a phone number for a few days then disconnect it and get a new one... it's always a different number but the Bronx area code. I hate them.

Hah, for me I get them from Oregon. Apparently. Grr.
 
i got a phone call just now from a Chapel hill areacode...i was like WTF UNC!!!..nope some girl calling about practice tonighgt.

everyone seems to get that stupid call, i hate it, it always tricks me in picking up because i think it is a med school!

LFW's previous post was awesome with its dancing monkeys, but...

I found out I got rejected from UCSF yesterday🙁... My parents did not want to tell me, because they thought I would be sad, after my Buffalo Waitlist...

Eh, oh well, I absolutely HATE the city of San Francisco... I dunno why, it just never appealed to me and it is filled with one way streets which I cannot stand, and I would have chosen LA over SF anyway...

Oh well, who cares, cuz I got SLU!

Haha yeah. According to last year's cycle, the dean calls accepted students in the evening. A current Vandy med student said the same thing, so it looks like they're going to call. I have my phone on loud next to me. Let's hope for good news!

Have you heard anything from your other schools yet?

Only your first one! Plus that guy just looked weird. Some interviewers are just impossible to have a good interview with. I'm sure you're fine.

Ya think mailcarriers know about 10/15? I mean, they know Mother's Day, Christmas, and other holidays, think they're aware of what happens on the 15th?

Maybe you're not a true "vet" at the USPS unless you have been accosted by a neurotic pre-med waiting on a letter.
