He told our stage manager that it was because it was too much to do on top of school... but the entire cast knows the real reason. He likes to party on the weekend, and because we have to be at the park from 5 pm to midnight on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, his available time to party was diminished. He used to come into 9 am rehearsals telling us how he'd been out until 6 am the night before at random parties.

Even though it is a bit exhausting, it's actually a really fun thing to do, and the pay isn't half bad either.

Wow, that's really unprofessional.

I have some friends that are actors, and I've always really respected what they do. I could never live my life like they do, not knowing EXACTLY where the next 4 paychecks are coming from. I'm also really jealous of them since I have absolutely no music/dance/singing talent whatsoever.

As for me, I had a fabulous weekend in Rochester, MN as well as getting to see the Mall of America for the first time and visiting the Twin Cities. 😍😍


But.. I'm paying for it now by the fact that I'm not (at 11pm) beginning to study for a midterm tomorrow. Oy.

Hey 2013! How's it going? I just got back from a nice, recharging trip to Vegas. So now I am ready to hit the road again and crank out my last 4 interviews!!!! I love looking at this thread and seeing all the amazing things happening to us! Keep it up!

So I pretty much had a super duper afternoon.

The doc I shadowed for a few months (the neonatologist that inspired me) sent me the nicest email congratulating me... and he said to let him know as soon as I was wrapping up my fellowship, and he'd be sure there was a position for me. 😀😀😀:soexcited:

You know, I was reading up on the advancements made in neonatal care, and I have to say, it's really pretty amazing. Do you know where you want to practice yet?

I'd really like to come back to my college/hometown. They have an impressive, state-of-the-art, separate room NICU (each pt has their own mini room with a place for parents to stay as much of the time as possible with the child). It's a fairly small unit (24-ish beds) but I love it.
 
I really do love you all and thank you so much for everything. Now I have to focus on preparing for this interview. I hope and pray I can be like you all and get in. I am soooooo geeked up right now. I have been bouncing off the walls today at work! LOL.
