Monday is being Monday here. I found out the reason my current computer project isn't working is because it's too long. Thus, I have to undo a bunch of the work I've been doing for the past week. Boo.
 
Funny, I had the exact opposite experience in PChem. It was enjoyable and pretty easy.
 
UCSD is WOW, just WOW!😀 And Yay, I got Dartmouth invite!!!!

You' get it soon JG. I am guessing early August, since I submit my application on 7/14, and it takes about 2 weeks for LA to send the letters. I hear they are really slow in processing the applicants! :luck:
 
Getting closer to November 15th guys. Hope things start to pick up again.

Berken, did you ever call Wake? I still haven't done it.

12/19: Go back to LAX/SNA

My parents were saying that it would be tough, and my friend is interviewing at D-mouth on the 12/4. I could go on the 4th and interview on the same day as him, but I do not want to spend two extra days in NY, between Sinai, and AE and AE and UConn for no reason though. I am so confused!

I agree with you. You have a day between Einstein and UConn (when you'll probably be tired) to relax...so I think it's a good plan 👍 If only there was a way to do Sinai, then Aecom, then dartmouth. That would solve everything.

I have the afternoon AECOM interview, so I will not be done till 5, and I do not know if I will be able to get to the airport after that. The only other problem is... I do not want there to be a snowstorm, and get stuck in New Hampshire, and miss AECOM... or get stuck in NY and miss D-mouth...

You have UVa and UMich. Unless, you had the same dates as me, which would make me angry if you cancelled them...

The chances of that are low...and you really shouldn't worry about it.

I KNOW the feeling. But I think you're fine 🙂 I'd definitely go to UMich over Sinai, if it were my choice.

I guess I didn't apply to either, but still the point stands: You made a good move. You will save a lot of $$.

Hey, what's wrong with Sinai. I like them. Atleast they reviewed my file and gave me an interview... unlike UMich... or UVa or Baylor for that matter...

i really wanna cancel my BU interview.... but a little apprehensive about it.. im thinking that if for some crazy reason sinai accepts me before 12/3 i will cancel BU lol

I was just kidding... Actually since UMich is a public school, and neither of us is a resident of MI, we would end up paying the same amount as any private school...

Yeah, but your UCLA and dartmouth probably threw my file in the trash months ago. I'm ok with it though...you win some and you lose some.

At my SD interview today, one of the MI's was saying that he was complete at LA for 4 months, and then he got an invite. There is still hope JG. We can be classmates...hopefully😀

Hey Berk, I called and got an interview at Wake Forest. I don't know if I'll ultimately keep my date, but you should call to find out your status.

Apparently I was in their "Top Interview" pile 😕😕

There are only dates left in January and beyond if you're still interested.

To everyone else: Call Wake Forest: You might have an interview invitation and not know about it. Yes it is just as strange as it sounds.

I feel like this was the case last cycle too. I remember people freaking out about this. Why would a school do things this way, I wonder?

I have NO idea why a school would do it this way. Makes no sense to me.

Maybe they're thinking only the 'truly dedicated' will get a spot? 😕😕 Only the telephonically-advantaged will get a spot?😕

Calling doesn't mean you're dedicated! Some people are told not to bother the admissions office, so they decide to limit their calls throughout the app cycle...even if Wake is their top choice. I honestly don't understand this.
