yeah, see the thing for me, is that I will very possibly have the opportunity to go to a school that is ENTIRELY FREE (as in, they give full tuition and living expenses) --> UCF (new school).

Or, if I get into Cornell or Columbia, I could take out a quarter million in loans.

Or I could do something in between (Baylor, UF, Miami, or USF).

Or I might get in somewhere else.

How'm I supposed to make this decision???? 😕😕 I have no idea. But money may factor into it at least a little bit. I mean, options are wonderful, but I'm also kind of overwhelmed by the radically different scenarios I have facing me...

We should declare bankruptcy, go into private practice for barter. They'd never catch us.

I vote for "in between." Why? Because if you choose one from that list (for example, Baylor), than I can choose one from my in between list (also, Baylor) and poof! Pianola and Berken are attending the same medical school! 😱

😀😀 Yes. This is true.

But it's just mind-boggling how many different scenarios could result from the same applicant. I know which interview experiences I liked best, but now I'm asking myself all these questions about "what matters to me" you know?

Is it the money? My prospective happiness in the next four years? My level of happiness in residency? The location?

I just don't know how to rate the relative importance of all of these factors.

Heh, I know a person who was over his head in debt/loans and he bought a $200,000+ house in Florida (very close to where I live), declared bankruptcy, and because Florida has "Homestead Exemption" laws, was able to just get away with owing all sorts of people all sorts of money. Didn't have to give up his house or anything.

Generally speaking, he's the kind of guy whose life would have made for one great "moral/ethical dilemma" -- where he chose ALL the wrong solutions.

I am also looking at the chocolate mousse that I helped make, but I do not like cream, so I don't really wanna eat it... but it looks too good not to eat... What a horrible conundrum...🙁

Right on man, every time "who you gonna call?" comes up in a conversation, I go out of my way to say "Ghostbusters!" No one in my house thinks its funny though.

Man you should check out hulu.com.
They have partner deals with a lot of tv shows so it's all legal and what not. I highly recommend Arrested Development.

👍 Arrested Development is one of the best shows EVER. Another good one is It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

No offense but I hate South Park and Arrested Development... I cannot stand stupid crude humor...I watched Anchorman today, and it was moderately meh, but it was all about San Diego, and it made me sad, and it was a bit too vulgar for my tastes... but I think it may be due to my mom prescreening tv shows and movies until I was 18😱....

how i met your mother has dougie howser (i dunno his real name) as one of the cast members. That should be enough right there. His character is pretty funny.

south park isnt stupid humor........its GENIUS. Seriously.....Anchorman??? THAT, is stupid humor. I hate will farrel. He simply is NOT funny.

Big Bang Theory is awesome. Feel free to watch any season (this actually might be the first, or maybe second), I am confident you will like it!

Seriously, thanks for the suggestions! There's only so many times you can rewatch episodes of south park before it gets old...ohh what am I talking about...south park never gets old!

You and I would get along very well... you think exactly like I do 😀 I LOVE South Park in its vulgar, but extremely witty, political humor. It just doesn't get any better, IMHO. And, I refuse to watch anything Will Farrel. I actually get irritable just looking at the guy. :laugh:

Whaaat? Nooo. South park can be pretty crude but Arrested Development I feel like is a smart comedy, and I love the plot of it. Will Ferrell can be hit or miss for me...Anchorman was so ridiculous it was funny (IMO).

The Pack are right up there too, they really fell apart the last half of the season. Still not sold on Aaron Rodgers and the contract extension they gave him after 5 games.

NPH all the way! He had hilarious funny guest roles in the Harold and Kumar movies. I love that he is gay in real life but can play your prototypical straight alpha male kind of guy so well.

I can't wait to buy all 25 seasons (or more?) of South Park in the future. It will be the masterpiece of my tv show collection.

i think my roomie tried to show a clip of that show once, but i wasnt realy paying attention. I have heard good things, I will give it a shot.

Oh! And another good comedy......Two and A Half Men.

Need a drama? The Unit is the best drama/action on TV. I'm not kidding.

Yea, green bay sucks too, but they aren't in the playoff running. The bears are not a playoff caliber team, and they should have lost today (can you believe that punt?). Nor were they a superbowl caliber team when they went a few years ago. And the cardinals...........WTF.........ahhhhhhh;asdjf ;afj asf.....the f'in cardinals. give me a break. screw the nfc. And the broncos? Cmon man, win a friken game. If the chargers make the playoffs i might die.

haha, okay. Its not that good. But it has its moments. I only watch it when I am at home b/c its taped on Tivo and there is nothing else to watch when i have watched everything else.

The other ones are good tho, i promise.

EDIT: what about entourage? i havent watched it in a few years, but i remember enjoying it.

I started watchin private practice this break, cuz it was taped on tivo. I had never heard of it........its actually pretty good! I watched a few of the episodes and was definitely intrigued.

I have heard many good things about this show, and there is a big billboard about it in on the 405 in Culver City, but I do not get FX on my tv... is it really that good? I dunno if I wanna start watching another TV show... I already watch/follow 5, and I do not wanna spend more time...

For those who are curious, and may wanna flame me for saying this, these are the ones that I watch:

Ari Gold is a hilarious character. I heard the recent seasons havent been as good, but i havent watched so i dunno.

Definitely watch big bang theory, how i met your mother, and The Unit if you can. Oh oh oh! And prison break! that show is bad ass.

Hahah. I actually didn't catch the MNF tonight (although I usually do). Was watching my Blazers. The Cardinals got wrecked by NE, safe to say they can't really play in cold weather! Their aerial attack is pretty money though. I had Kurt Warner for fantasy and he was crazy this year. Matty Leinart is probably depressed because he won't be getting off the pine any time soon. I just want to see some good games this year (this goes for the BCS bowls as well), although last seasons SB will be v. hard to top. I can't talk too much trash cause my sea-pigeons were a train wreck.

I really like Pushing Daisies... it is like an adult fairy tale type show, and it is very humorous...
 
Monkey: Greys got wayy too ridiculous and full of drama for me. I really liked the first two seasons though. I agree with you about one thing though!

yea i dont have any beef with kurt warner, but they just dont deserve to be in the playoffs. They havent beat a playoff bound team all year, well if the cowboys or dolphins make it thatll be one or two (maybe i feel this b/c im a niner fan?).

The bears offense was horrible today. They couldnt move the ball at all, the only reason they scored one of their touchdowns is b/c they punted the ball to like the 20 yard line, and it bounced off one of the return man's blockers and the bears just fell on the ball. Lame.

I know... I agree that after watching the first episodes of the season, which were rather boring, I understood why, but the newest episodes are pure gold... they should have waited until they passed judgement.🙁👎thumbdown👎
