So what's the deal, any cavities? My mom still asks after every dentist visit.I'm like Mom, I learned how to brush my teeth 10 years ago...

I will try to get some TV in today. Probably start with Sunny in Philadelphia, then HIMYM...after I type up some LOI's though!

No cavities...this time 😛 But he cut the hell out of my gums. 🙁
 
woo I have been busy busy today. painted the mailbox, cleaned house and the porch, went to the store for mom, visited my great grandmother... time for a shower and some couch!

Me too! I'd love to interview there . And good news, Ive already received a confirmation email saying they have my letter and will put it in my file. Thats an improvement from last time, when they lost it and then found it like a month later! I see the light 😀

p.s. ive already watched two episodes of sunny in philadephia (is there a proper short nick name for that show) and im about to start episode 3!

I feel like when I first joined SDN I was just a sheep unaware of what's going on. Now I see the new postings of how to do things and should I panic yet and I realize how much I have changed over time. Anyone else notice this?

I only heard about this site and joined in July after I had submitted and verified my primary, but it definitely came in very handy for secondaries. I imagine this is a good thing though. If I had known about this years ago, I would have been one of those "Oh nOez, i gOt a C+ iN bIo I!" posters myself :laugh:

i only discovered this site in august! and then i became neurotic ... i blame it on sdn haha.

on another note. i'm worried about going back to school, i bet my mailbox is stuffed with rejection letters and here i am stuck in ignorant bliss :laugh:

Lol, Charlie is usually on the receiving end of a lot of the humiliation and embarrassment. That doesn't change in episode 5 either (Gun Fever, right?)

yea. I dont like dee's bf. As soon as he opened his mouth i was like "that fool just robbed them." Only about 5 min through, so i dunno if i'm right. Even if i'm wrong, he's still a douche.

I watched 7 episodes of Sunny in Philly, but then I OD'ed. It is really good but I need to watch it a little at a time.

I also saw Bolt. It was a disappointment... I preferred WALL-E. I have realized that Pixar>>>>>>>>>>>Disney.... IMHO...

haha! true that. It reminds me of the 2-7 am crew. And i've gotta get my posts in now, i'm probably gonna be MIA starting the night of the 26th...the gf is coming in to town and she doesnt really like my SDN addiction, haha. Ill try to sneak in a post here and there, but who knows!

My holidays are great. I have to work tomorrow from 6am-1pm and then I am off until monday. I am going to Big Bear this weekend to do some boarding, can't wait. Nothing yet but I have a great feeling that January is going to be my month! What about you? Didn't you just get a big acceptance?

dude no way!!!! I went last saturday! I was supposd to go on Tuesday, and I was planning on going this saturday...but on the last trip my car broke down on the mountain!! I wrote the whole story on this thread, its probably a few pages back now. But we should try and go snowboardin sometime!

I'm probably not gonna have my car back til next week, but I am trying to figure out a way to borrow one to get up there. I was supposed to go with my girlfriend to teach her how to snowboard.

It was great conditions b/c they just had that snow storm. The entire mountian was open, and we even did some tree runs through the powder. I was kinda dissapointed in the jumps/rails/jibs...but i guess it was okay cuz its kinda early in the season.

And yea, i got accepted to UCI a few weeks ago! I was stoked, and will probably end up there next year. I bet youll be gettin that good news too!

He said in the basketball thread he's watching the Blazers game. There's under 1:30 in the fourth quarter, so barring overtime, he should be around shortly- except that he has to reply to my post in the basketball thread first 🙂

We should definitely link up and hit the mountain sometime. That would be a gang of fun. Congrats on that acceptance! I know that has to be a great feeling. Can't wait to experience it. Where do you live out here?

so what is that like 20 min real time? The losing team fouls about every 2 seconds in desperation and hope that the winning team will miss free throws and they will in turn sink every half court 3 pointer?

I think we are going saturday or sunday. I know we are going up to the mountains on saturday morning. I live in Carson.

make sure you check if chains are required. They made a big stink about it last week. There was a check point midway up the moutnain and it caused RIDICULOUS traffic. It took like 2.5 hours to get up the mountain and they wouldnt let anyone through who didnt have chains or snow tires.


oooo, carson! where the home depot center is? Ive been there a few times. I went there a few years ago, they had a step competition and celelbrity basketball game w/ snoop dogg. It was a good time.
