Yup, apparently it's frowned upon to interview for another job when you're under contract. I doubt he's going to get the Jets job anyway, so hopefully he lands on his feet.

Ive been watching the history channel alot this week....This end of the world and 2012 stuff is pretty interesting even if I dont beileve it.

I dunno, that seems pretty common to me. College coaches and assistant coaches do it all the time. Don't know why BC made such a big deal about it. The offensive coordinator for Florida interviewed and accepted a job at Mississippi state already didn't he? And assistant coaches in the NFL have been interviewing left and right now that the season is over...None of them are getting fired. Teams are usually pretty accommodating about that kind of stuff.

idk... those teams always have to grant that coach permission to interview elsewhere before they do it. As long as the coach has a contract, it's always the school's prerogative to deny other entities to interview them; the fact that it's uncommon to do so is irrelevant. It's not like he didn't know what he was committing to when he signed his name on for all those years.

Yeah, I also think it's dumb when players demand trades or ask for buy-outs. If someone signs a contract, you gotta honor it, I say- if the team lets you out of it, good for you, but don't be an ass and try and weasel your way out.
 
I was off SDN for about 3 hours and I got homework done... Can you believe that it is the third day of classes and I am already behind...oh well, at least my classes are fun! Except for tomorrow's stupid research seminar...

Oh yeah, I haven't bought my books yet! Crap, now I'm going to have to buy them at a ridiculous price from the book store 👎 Huh... when I started this, I was pretty sure I was just joking about being behind already!

Not till next Wednesday... and nobody on here better get jealous, I had to hear about how y'all were home already while I slaved away at finals until 12/18! 🙂 I remember, it seemed like Berk and I were the only two people still stuck at school... and it SUCKED!

Speaking of which... where is that bird at, anyways? Seems like this is about the time she usually hops on...

Would it matter? I have a pretty gender clear name. As a general rule of thumb, if someone's avatar is a pretty girl/naked girl/oversexed girl with come hither look, I assume that the person is a young (lonely???) male :laugh:

my hot date went well. We have a mutual best friend (he introduced us many years ago) that was leaving to law school in michigan so we sent him away with food and love 🙂

Haha, well I can never seem to sleep in past 9:30 or 10 no matter how hard I try, so I usually wind up with about 8 hours or so (yeah, I'm something of a night owl). That's still a HUGE upgrade from the 2-4 I was averaging in finals week!

Ok, ok, I know I said I was off... but just had to point out, I can think of several much worse addictions than SDN :laugh: In fact, it makes me wonder what the "best addiction" would be... ideas? I expect a long list of incredibly witty answers upon my return 🙂
