Funk, I wear contacts. I started about two years ago when I noticed I had to sit at the front of my classes with all of the pre-med gunners because I couldn't see lectures.

Nacho Libre was mildly funny in a silly sort of way.

LOL at the assface pictures.

I feel pretty young too. I'll be 22 in July...All my pre-med friends in college are waiting to apply, and I don't know anyone else personally that is applying this year (that's why I love this thread 🙂)
At one of my interviews...I was the only one there who was still in school! 😱

i'm here, wow i didn't know the average age was 24, i'm not even 21 yet! and funky did you see the unborn or do you just think it looks bad in the ads?

I dunno if anyone else backed my estimate of an average age of 24.....but i didnt have a source. Thats just what I THINK i remember readin. It may be 23...
 
Hey guys.

So I have a 6 hour flight tomorrow at 6am, which means I'll probably have to wake up around 4 to get ready...Should I stay up tonight and sleep on the plane or sleep like 3 hours tonight and try to sleep more during the flight?

i vote stay up all night and then catch my shut eye on the plane. where are you going?

hmmmmmm, how do you do with sleeping on flights? If you can do it, then I say just stay up. If you cant, just sleep however much you can now.

If you have something important (interview?)at your destination I'd try to get some sleep. If not then I guess it doesn't really matter.

I think it is 24, maybe higher... I remember at the Vandy interview they told us that they usually have a younger class with the average age at 23...so it may be higher...

Have fun at your interview on Monday... and I am sure it will be much nicer temps than other places in the country

Yeah, for sure. Traveling is kind of fun. I like the feeling of walking through the airport knowing I have someplace important to be...lol. Yeah I heard the same. Funny how Interviews are a lot less stressful with an acceptance in the bag and I don't feel as nervous either.

Thanks for the input guys, I think I'm gonna stay up for awhile and get most my sleep on the plane. I can usually pass out pretty easily if I get a window seat to lean my head against the wall.
 
Wow, I missed a lot tonight/this afternoon.

And now I am sitting here preparing a lecture for my lil MCAT kiddies. They deserve the best. <-- Too bad that's someone else and not me.

I never took an MCAT class but I like to think it could have added a few points to my score 😉

one of my friends is pre-vet and they have the option of taking the GRE or MCAT. my friend wants to take the mcat. 😱 i don't know where to begin the explanation ... :laugh:

Haha, they are paying me minimum wage for most of the work I do 🙂thumbdown). No, the class is kind of useless. Save a thousand dollars and either take an on-line class or just study on your own. <-- that's my take.

Of course, I did take the class myself. 😛

That's how I felt after I took it. I was like: hmm, maybe I should have just bought practice tests and books.

haha. Yeah, I don't think having a live course did anything in particular for or against my motivation to study. No difference.
 
FREAKIN PANTHERS....If we dont release jake Delhomme and find a legit NFL quarterback next year...im pulling for someone else........****IN 6 turnovers.
