:hello: to whoever is on...

I spent 4 hours on SDN when I was supposed to be researching for the three papers I have to write, so I told my self that I would try to make it through today without going on SDN... and here I am🙄

I have class from 12-4 and research from 4-5:30 woot for transfections.... SO I will be gone in like 5 minutes...
 
so the rejections keep rolling in. vermont today. i'm kinda glad though. not that i'm rejected but that these schools are letting us know and know just leaving us in limbo, so we keep hoping for a miracle ... at least that is what i do haha
 
Oh yeah, and is it just me or is it cold today... I think it is 75 degrees😛

Don't worry about it... you do not wanna pay their insane OOS tuition do you?

You have Rush, which is awesome by the way! I owe Rush my life, since their chief resident performed my appendectomy after my appendix ruptured...

I never wear shorts, and I am always in flip-flops, unless it is raining or I am in a cold state... but yeah, no sweatshirt for me. Short sleeves all the way!

And I should get some sunglasses.... The sun is being unbearable😎

haha i know i like loved rush when i visited. i thought you withdrew from rush. the only thing i am looking for that rush doesn't have is not to be in chicago. i feel like i should try out a new environment. kinda like an extended traveling trip while i'm still young you know, get to know a new city, see more of the great america.

Yea, I guess you DO owe them your life, lol.

I've often wished they would take my appendix out pre-disaster. Just-in-case, I'd rather have it out.

actually, if you end up having any abdominal surgery, they will most likely take out the appendix anyway, regardless of whether or not its infected. i thought that was interesting when i learned about it.

Yeah, that's why I applied to schools in Philly, Boston, and Chicago, but alas, going to medical school ANYWHERE is more important.
 
yay i have the avatar. but i got some bad news re: my poor lab grade. It should be nothing but for a totally stupid reason it looked like I used part of my friend's lab report but it was really a table i used her formatting for (we are encouraged to work together) and forgot to copy and paste something of mine over hers... so they think i plagiarized and it went to the dean of studies, but I just spoke with my professor and she seemed understanding that it wasn't bad (she kept saying "i encourage you to wok together" and "i didnt know what to do. this is so unlike you.") that I think(hope?) that it will end there. She also seemed open to considering changing my grade in some way now that she knew what actually happened.

obviously, and i'm really happy i'm accepted to somewhere i really liked. coz i didn't like ros frank all that much. so rush is an excellent choice. but i'm still going to hope you know aznboy, still got my dream alive for somewhere else. 🙂😀:luck:👍

by the way, those philly schools are all so cruel they are all silent rejections ...😡

Is that why you didn't apply to other chicago schools? I wondered about that, seeing as since you are located their anyway, might as well.
 
Aw, ar2388...I'm sorry. Hopefully the teacher understands since it WAS just a table...I mean, that could happen to anyone. 🙁 I hope it works out.
