We cant fight each other......show the puerto rican love. And even if you did wanna fight and throw snow at me, it would melt in mid air :laugh:.

Oh, and I hate flip flops. I dont like the way that thing feels between my toes. I wear the sporty sandals that you just slide into. I dunno the name for them.
 
I've decided I want Lyss to be my doctor 😀😀. My EMT, my psychiatrist, and whatever other assorted needs I might have 😉.

Nothing. I think the adcom did meet today. I am going to call tomorrow cuz at the interview they told us that if we haven't heard a decision in 30 days to call Ms. Walk. I was and still am anxious. I feel bad cuz everybody was all excited for me and nothing happened! 🙁

my lab partner was from Cali and we would great each other everyday by making that surfer hand thing people do (fold all of your fingers down except the pinky & thumb) and say "surfs up broooo"

don't feel bad BD2B! It will make your acceptance that much sweeter. Apparently I have become the authority on Cornell and Howard because people keep PMing me asking me either a) what do I need to get into Cornell one day or b) how did I hear from Howard and my stats 😀

hahaha, i never even noticed the girl. I just watched the full video on youtube...it was definitely a camera woman who noticed she was in the shot and was not supposed to be.

me too, feels like -30°F
 
no matter how hard i try, i can't even imagine what it must be like to live in temperatures that cold. i think the coldest temperature i've ever felt was about 25 degrees fahrenheit.

i went to chicago for a couple days last year for work, but it was in early november, so it was 'warm' according to their standards: it was about 35 degrees throughout the day. i was in a turtleneck, jacket, and gloves, plus i wear a scarf on my head (i'm muslim), and i was still a little cold. the one thing i found fascinating was that you could see puffs of your breath in the afternoon, which in socal, only happens in the early morning.
 
Wait, wait.... I've got you ALL beat for temperature....

It was -16 degrees this morning!!! (Fahrenheit, so -27 celsius)

SOOOO cold. but then again...it is Canada.

We had sub-zero temps here this morining as well. I let my car warm up for like 15 minutes. Gas is cheap and there was no way in hell I was sitting in a freezing car or standing in my driveway scrapping ice.
 
:hello: whoever is on... 4 day weekend, except I am in lab all day tomorrow, on Saturday I have to go to my 7 year old cousins' birthday party, then go to my aunt's house for another party, then on sunday I have to go to a wedding... I wanted to study/ do research this weekend for my papers, but now I will not be able to🙁
 
Haha, I really think we should change this to the All-Purpose Complaint Thread for the Class of 2013. Oh and on that note, I have a headache 👎.

Too bad tonkatruck is probably LOOOOONG gone.

Aw funky. That's pretty busy! A 7-year old's birthday party sounds fun, though 🙂 (I don't have any children-relatives).
