Class of 2013!!!

So. Today's a big animal day for our research group, so we get our crazy vaccination action on and I get left to mouse-sit, which I don't mind at all, because I😍mice (balbc, not c57bl6). I was supposed to hang out until they wake up, only they didn't really tell me what "awake" meant. So I'm sitting there for an hour watching them crawl into their little mouse dwellings and I figure it's about time I went through them to see who was up. Maybe 70% are up and running around, but the last 30% are ambling on their front two legs or burying their heads in the bedding (hangover??). Eventually, I get sick of waiting for these guys, so I call our guys back saying that some are more awake then others.

Apparently, if they flip over onto their stomachs, they're awake.

I pretty much spent my entire day hanging out with the mice today.😍 And for whatever reason, our room was set to 83.5F with 16% humidity. My kind of weather! Too bad it's 16F outside.:laugh:

Well, I have what'll probably be a two-hour absence while I drive home (gotta count those inauguration beltway noobs in--should counteract the federal 59-minute-ruler), then I'll probably pass out in front of my computer and let my cat post for me.👍

Hahaha. I think that term refers to a two man-one-woman scenario, Berk (??) Just asking since I learned the term a few weeks ago: Did you guys hear about the hockey player who was kicked off the team for calling his ex g.f. sloppy seconds? Apparently this guy was just generally offensive, though.

Yeah, since he hooked up with her first, anyone who slept with her after him would be getting his "sloppy seconds." It has nothing to do with 2 men and 1 woman or other threesome combinations.
