Very true... I have started running consistently again this quarter... The first 2 miles are tough but after the fourth, you just wonder how many more you can do...

I apparently ran 25 miles this week😱

sorry, wasn't trying to be mean. Most people tend to stop after 3 weeks when they find that they lost 6-12 pounds or so, and stop because it takes time and effort. Then they gain the weight back in about 2 months

funky, 25 miles is approximately 3500 calories (1 pound of fat)
approximated from W = FxD and converted to calories

And I agree about the Haka, altho i havent heard too many people talk **** about. Its always irritated me when football teams do it, especially teams that have no link/connection to the dance or tradition....a bunch of white dudes with helemts and shoulder pads doing the haka, its just like.....what are you thinking? you should not be doing that...its kind of insulting and you look stupid.
and also the all blacks are the most racially integrated team and people don't appreciate that. for the south african springbox some of the white people refuse to share a room with the black team members.
and the all blacks are just kind in general, when one of the players on the scottish/irish team went down, play continued but our captain, tana stopped to take out the person's mouthguard and roll him over to make sure he was ok

i don't think normal people lost 12 pounds in 3 weeks. unless you are overweight 4 pounds/week is a lot of weight to lose. (and you wont keep it off.

i know, did you know he started off as a wing! isn't he so much better at centre. plus his sportsmanship is amazing, i meet him a couple times at training sessions and he is the most down to earth guy ever

Seems like tonight is a milestone type of night. First Vadd0, then GloryField. I think Myuuchan is 4 posts short. I have less than 30 to go and blues needs around 40. We could all cross the mark if we try!

I didndt konw that tana used to be a wing!!! rokocoko could be a centre too, that guy is massive. I couldnt imagine seeing that him line up across from me on the wing.

The 13 for the all blacks now is every bit as ridiculous as Tana...Nonu!!!

yeah he started out his carrer there, then one of his coaches moved him in, the best move ever 👍 rocko is big, but he isn't really as strong physically not like jonah lomu, and he on defense is often lacking which of course would be really bad for a center. he's very nimble and can like do a 360 to evade the defender oh and lightening fast. he can accelerate like ... words cannot describe
 
blues are you able to watch rugby often? I'm stuck watching clips online and what not, but i'd love to be able to watch lives matches when they happen. My school ordered the world cup when it happened last year or whenever it was and that was pretty awesome, but tahts the only time ive been able to keep up with live games.

no, i mean not this year the first two years i got a subscription and split it with a couple of people but now i just listen to the games live through new zealand radio. 🙁 it's not the same. but when i go back, i watch it all day everyday, we have the rugby channel it plays ONLY rugby :laugh:

no it wasn't setanta, i will try to remember what it was. you could get a subscription to watch only rugby and it's all current but you can watch old ones too
