I don't know which orientation I will be going to... no countdown yet. Now I'm sick... Have a cracked rib. But still have my gorgeous dog.

oh man...awesome (read "cute"...LOL) dog!!! Tear...I just had to put mine down...he was 12 years old though and he had cancer.

I went to the gym earlier today. There were an above average number of very attractive ladies today, not sure why. Maybe its the people who after one week of class decide it's time to skip lectures.

PS I love my schedule this semester. No class monday/wed/fridays.

Tues/Thurs I have class 10:00 11:00 and 1:00 - 3:00

Are you still a full time student? I always figured (and observed) less people went to the gym after the first few weeks since they missed it over winter break and had resolutions to try to keep.

Chuck, that's a cute dog! My parents went to Vegas for the week and left our dog with some of my cousins. I'm worried they don't know how to take care of him, plus he must be so confused and thinking we all abandoned him! 🙁
 
I'm taking 13 credits, 3 of them is research and 1 is seminar, the other 9 is humanities

My vision has returned! As it turns out, I have a cataract in my right eye, my vision is unchanged over two years 🙂D), and my eyes are textbook healthy. In fact, I have a condition where you can see my pulse in the vessels in my eye. The OS-4 and the attending told me to share that everyone at medical school. I really wish I could learn more about the eyes.

Also, I was able to double check the address on the label to hopkins I prepared and it was correct. So that means my financial aid for 3 schools should be complete.

The ones that are out of shape (just a generalization, doesn't apply to everyone).

The cute ones that are already in shape go regardless, but first week maybe they skip as they adjust their schedule.
 
wait what? You would actually consider going to another school over hopkins?

Hopefully my eyesight will stop changing by the time I'm a doctor. They haven't stopped yet and I got my first pair of glasses when I was 14. They've changed regularly every year. I think I'm at -7 contacts at this point.

Do you wear contacts, Vadd?

I wear contacts! My eyes are about half as bad as yours, so we're both blind as bats.

Once I get done with the heavy reading stuff (first 2 years and STEP 1), I'm gonna get Lasik. I'll probably go get it done at Hopkins or Mayo, and only do one eye at a time.
And hopefully the technology will be even more mature in a couple of years.

Yeah...I'm so glad there are such things as contacts. Glasses fall off my face or pinch my nose. I guess I'm funny-shaped or something 😛.

Yay for Lasik. Maybe when I have a few thousand dollars to blow, I'll look into it...you know I've heard about some radiologists not getting Lasik in the worry that it might make their vision a little worse...

I have 20/10 vision in one eye and 20/15 vision in my other eye, so I have 20/13 vision overall😀 Too bad my hearing sucks...
