Class of 2013!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
OK, I'm starting to get really sick of going to the gym but I'll hang in there a little longer. I know it's helping my energy levels, but I feel like it's eating up a huge chunk of my time that I don't feel like giving up.

Maybe I'll start taking one day off each week or something.

I wish I could study while exercising, but I just get nauseous if I try to read anything and exercise.

Don't push yourself too hard! This is supposed to be something you can keep going with (and not have a heart attack), right?👍:luck:

Virginia is awesome! And it is as cold as when I went to New Hampshire😱

The weather we've been having of late has been highly unusual! It's usually 10º warmer, though in the mountains it's _exactly_ like this.

I am in Richmond so it may be colder?
My throat hurts. I hope this doesn't mean I'm getting sick
Yah it is that cold... 38 degrees... same as NH in December
virginia sucks....NC is better.

Nope, UNC rejected me, but UVa and VCU/MCV gave me interviews...

Ready to kick some interview ass, funkmonk?

Hopefully... we will see on Monday and Wednesday... although I have not interviewed in more than 1 month so I have forgotten everything...

One thing I realized in my deep slumber rousing is how lucky I am to be where I am today. I was born into the bottom 3% of US family annual income, I was able to attend a 4 year university, and I am now going to medical school, where upon completely residency I would be in the top 3% of US family income. And after it all, I am just very excited to have a fancy kitchen and a house for my family. Hopefully my kids won't be materialistic.

i'm kind of in the same boat and I'm so incredibly lucky for it. my parents really worked so hard to give me this chance and I can't wait to help them out when I will be making money😍

Oh no! 🙁 Get well soon.
I guess it was a bad day for basketball all around because I was absolutely terrible today. Most my jumpers missed badly and I even airballed a couple 👎

dont you just hate those days?! it seems like you can get it in any sport. Just one day where nothing! works. ugh! lol
i have ballet 4x a week now and there are some days where I just have no ability to do anything, especially pirouettes and then I just hide in the back of the class l:laugh:

I bought this for a friend for Christmas at a campus bookstore 😀 I think they might also be sold in Urban Outfitters. You might just also want to check a mainstream bookstore--definitely a great little item!

what game is this?

Yeah, I always have to prep Orgo and Physics more than the other ones.

Beware MSCT2. Bajillions of mistakes in that thing.
good luck! orgo seems to be slightly deemphasized on the MCAT which im sure will be nice 🙂 I had the most problem with Bio (bc i took it freshman year) and some physics (when i skipped class..😎

ive never been able to get over the fact that whenyou are moving its so hard to read and focus, especially if the print is small.

Matched at Texas Tech last night! Totally excited after spending another couple years to go back to school for this (I'm a non-traditional student).

jus tested out the new shoes... good stuff! Did almost two miles. I've discovered that I itch pretty bad when I sprint or run at top speed. anyone else have that problem? I googled it.. looks like antihistamines help most people, and I need to get in the habit of taking a claritin a day again anyway. Apparently, the itching is caused by tiny capillaries opening up in your blood vessels... its more common when you are new to exercising or pushing yourself more than you're used to. its supposed to go away after a while.

Yeah it's so hard to read while exercising, there's too much movement! unless you're on a stationary bike or something.

That happens to me if I run more than usual.
