So, I have this *very* annoying coworker who is constantly trying to out-do everyone else... it's sickening.

Her latest project is "cold-calling" any student she has spoken with or has filled out an interest form from her area... from the time she gets here in the morning (usually about 9, she's ALWAYS late) until 5.

Mkay, is it just me or did you guys also think high schoolers went to school?!

Ummm....wow.
 
Some minor good news and bad news!
I found my watch in my girlfriend's car (who knows why it was there).

I went to buy gloves and they no longer sell them because we are supposed to be having 40 °F highs and not 20 °F.

I am wearing this again

My senioritis is worse... I just finished going through my notes for the first time at 1:30....this morning... and I do not have time to go through them again....😱

A friend of mine taught me that a good one to make omelets is to heat the oil up first before you put the egg whites/yolks into the pan. That way, the eggs start cooking almost immediately rather than congealing into the oil as they heat up together. It definitely helped my omelet-making ability 👍

Yeah, that was DEFINITELY where I was going wrong last night. The last time I made omelets, the pan was too hot and I burned the omelet. This time it wasn't hot enough.

I'll get it right before Saturday, though!

Yeah, I don't think I have the skills enough to crack the egg into the pan myself.

Yay! Nice watch, Vadd0 😀😀. Sorry it's so cold for you up there. It's not exactly the warmest down here. It got down to 19 last night...

So, HIMYM is amazing. But only slightly less well known (getting into a land war in asia...) is The Big Bang Theory.

One of my interviewers @ CMS brought up the show on her own and we talked about it for 10 minutes. She was hillarious, especially because she was an older lady so I was shocked. But she obviously had good taste.

Oh and WTFBBQ they found my bag and are delivering it to me today!
 
So what do you guys think, should I attend my Jefferson interview? I still haven't made all the arrangements and it's less than 2 weeks away... I just don't know if I would like it better than Maryland.

Would you go to Jefferson over U Maryland or EVMS?

I really liked Jefferson last year at my interview. And I think Philly isbetter than B-more... but UMD is awesome as a school. I think you have to check out Jefferson before you can decide....

I've seen Big Bang Theory a couple times. Not my cup of tea for some reason. I can see why a lot of people find it funny though.

ohhh. you are only using egg whites. coz if you use the whole egg to get that semi-runny effect you want some of it to begin cooking. the main things is NOT to whisk it until it is in the pan, it doesn't matter that much where you crack it. if you whisk before hand you lose the bubbles that make the omelette fluffy.

I've driven through (I looked at the Jefferson campus while I was there) but I've never been there for an extended amount of time.

Maryland was my dream school before the cycle started (now it's Columbia, of course!) so I don't think Jefferson can top my opinion of that.

No. I start rehearsals for a show on February 28th, and I will be in rehearsals/performances until May 17th. Because I have to miss a week of rehearsal for my mission trip in March I'm not allowed to have any more conflicts.

Thanks for the help guys! I'm thinking I'm going to cancel the interview...
 
Chad another question for ya.....how far are you from Jefferson?
If you are close, then maybe it is worth a look but I wouldnt drive any extended amount of time if you already love maryland.
 
cancel it, chad! It seems like you'd take maryland over jefferson and there's no reason to interview at a school where you probably won't attend.

It's about a 5-hour drive...

If no one can give me any definitive reasons why Jefferson is better than Maryland I'm going to cancel my interview. 🙂

I don't think anyone could give an argument for the school being better than MD. Maybe they'll pass the interview on to me... 😉
