Yeah, Chad's kinda projecting Thursday/Friday/Saturday-ish of this week. Decisions are being sent out Tuesday.

I hate how the application cycle tends to end with rejection. Like all the schools you haven't heard from will turn into rejections. Maybe Columbia will be different.

And maybe I will get off UCF's hold list. *sigh*

If they get mailed out on Tuesday I may have my letter on Wednesday/Thursday.

It can be... some Asians have lower enzyme levels. That said, I'm Asian and can hold my own here, and this state has the highest level of drinking in the US (shouldn't really be a point of pride, but it is haha)

Then I will have the pleasure of telling them that the small envelope means rejection.

pretending to study for my midterm on monday

I have to study for a test I have on Monday, but my motivation to do so is rapidly dwindling.

me too!! i think im pass/failing this class. midterm, final and a paper.. and i just have no motivation and its history. ugh (although I am enjoying the actual material)

And they don't taste good...But that's the great thing about Berkeley (or any other college city). We have a coffee shop on every block, so you can choose which one you like best. I'm going to walk to this one that's 30 mins away because they make the best Americanos (and white chocolate mochas ).

I 😍 Mr. Nola (my s.o.), but he doesn't drink at ALL and he doesn't go to clubs. And I'm not particularly fond of either activity, per se. But I don't like the feeling that I couldn't go with him to one because he'd be miserable.

mr. ar isnt a club person either, but I love to dance (although not really club type dancing lol). however i have gone a few times with girl-friends and it has been fun. I would worry that if i took mr. ar he wouldnt have fun 🙁

Haha, we just had a big discussion in our integrated case immediately after exams about the culture of drinking in our state (ironically the case was about drunk driving) and basically it is really an ingrained part of the culture here. Our state's largest employer is Miller haha. That said, I think there are few things better than enjoying a cold beer on a warm sunny day by the lake. I'm also really into wine, and love having it with food. Of course moderation is important in all things

I think in general it's true. My tolerance is decent, but I just got a report from my PCP saying that my LFTs are elevated so I need to cut down on my alcohol intake 🙁

I just got back from playing 3-on-3 basketball in the park with a couple of snot-nosed high schoolers. We won 16-6 and 16-12 even with all their BS calls. Woot!

Haha, there really aren't any guarantees I wouldn't choose Baylor over Columbia. I mean, Columbia was great, but Baylor makes more sense financially, and Mr. Nola would like Houston better than NYC, I bet. But, I mean you never know. Columbia was an amazing school and I would love to go there. Too bad I can't go to them both 😉.

Yeah, Mr. Nola was just saying how smoothies are far superior to any alcoholic drink he'd ever tasted 😛. We could throw a few non-alcohol parties in Houston. Our mixed drinks would consists of mixes of different kinds of fruit smoothies 😀.

Made a new mix cd and went and rode around for a while...

Good cd, if I must say so myself. I do "data" cds bc my cd player does fine with mp3 disks, so I can get 100+ songs on a cd. Therefore I haven't listened to the whole thing, but so far... 👍

Went by the bookstore and got my book and study guide for the sunday school series we are doing so I'll have my hwk done tomorrow. 🙂
