mostly good things! I actually have a friend in Houston doing Teach for America. She said it was a shock to her system, especially coming from Boston. I don't think I could handle the heat though

Oh I agree w/ that! My roommate thinks I'm crazy for having the fan on when I go to sleep even in the winter 😛 (of course, it's more in the 40s-50s in the nights down here most of the time...)
