At one of my interviewers, one of the deans bragged that some students do that, the point being that if you go to that school you can do anything.

I don't think it's a big deal, especially for someone who is MD/MBA...

I'm sure my future holds some consulting and I think my school would fully encourage it... then again I had a MBA prior to going to med school so <shrug>
 
Hmm, my advice to posters in wamc seems to be pretty much the same... "you're not getting in for qualitative reasons, sounds like you're probably a dbag..." haha

in other news, I have a good chance of getting on my school's adcom 😀

True, unfortunately their heads are so far their they don't realize it.

Are there requirements or can anyone in your class be a part of adcom?

you have to be elected, but it's a LOT of work, so most people don't want to do it... thankless job but someone has to play god 😀

as far as the people in WAMC... yeah. Sometimes it's the international house of douche in there.... some guy was all offended I told him it would be hard to get into stanford with a 3.5

I hate getting up extra early in the morning...but by the time I am done I'm really ready for the day
