I just looked in the super-secret mods forum and I have to corroborate Bacchus' statement. There's a 5-page thread discussing the pros/cons of deleting the thread. Unfortunately, I think some of these cons also apply to this thread..

Basically, as I understand it (there's a bit of techy gobblygook in that thread, I have no clue what's what) the thread gets refreshed way too much throughout the day.. that's what happens when people basically use forums to have a real-time conversation. So essentially the traffic specific to the thread dwarfs that of the rest of Pre-Allo.. slowing the forums down. In fact, there was a poster who posted that Hawaii thing in the School-Specific Forums 4 times, and it appears to be because of the high server load slowing down the user experience.
