Class of 2013!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I don't feel too hot myself either, but I'll survive. Sweat some more at the gym tonight and hope I don't get a staph infection in the locker room. These days I think the locker room at Penn is getting progressively dirtier as the days go along.

I'm getting a headache... and I think I might have a sinus infection.

mucus is green and red. like christmas, only unhealthier 👎

Dude... that's.. foul. Green and red?! 😱 Maybe you should go get it checked..

😱 Anytime your bodily fluids are red, that's not a good sign.

Pfft. I'm not. Let me enjoy the warm months! August is when I'll sell my soul.

True, maybe I'm just saying that because I'm trapped at this job for another 6 weeks.

Baylor starts in July 😱😱😱😱😱

Case also starts in July. I feel your pain.

Ouch.

I bet you see alot of those in Miss

That's what I like about our cold climate, most of the snakes aren't posionous and the one posionous one is rare.

Our only dangerous animals and bears and wolves, which are at least smart enough where they try to avoid you.

I'm jealous of everyone starting in July 🙁
But we get extra vacation😎

You get more than a month in the summer?!

Lol. Cinci wants me to select a person who will accept/decline my acceptance if I get off the waitlist in case I go MIA. Who shall I select for this honor>?

Yup, you got top. I figured I could post again to get "top", but I don't get anything out of it so... :meanie:

Isn't blood a bodily fluid? :meanie:

Lol, well if you're expelling blood from your body, that's not a good sign either 😛

Wow, they actually let you choose someone to take your place? Nepotism FTW

I think you misunderstand, they just want someone to speak on his behalf if he can't. Sorta like an executor of DrYoda's last will and testament. :meanie:

Ooh, my bad. Thanks for clarifying.

Is that a common thing at schools? They ask you to designate someone in case you get off the waitlist?

I grow tired of pirate-news. We need to start blowing up pirate ships, and just get it over with.

what is the poisonous snake genus? Rattle Snake? Copperhead?

Can't be coral snake...only in the southwest...or water moccasin (aka cottonmouth)...only in the south/southeast/southern mid-atlantic

That PBS/NOVA doctor's diaries is somewhat depressing.

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/doctors/lives.html

I'm trying to decide who I'm most like among all of them.

 yeah...I walked away thinking "I am either destined to be divorced at least once and have at least a couple baby momma's or just be totally relationshipless"

Looks like I should not live a state that follows the half-rule...:meanie: As much as I luv cali...:meanie:

Yay, my post-per-day average is almost at 10! Currently 9.81 😀

Yeah 🙁 All of the men got divorced at least once (4 of them) and one of the women got divorced. Of the other two women, one woman was never married, and the other woman got married shortly after her 40th birthday. 5/7 odds for divorce is NOT great.

The opthalmologist looked happy enough (despite his divorce). Of course, his father paid for his medical education 🙄.

I guess most doctors are married to their work 😳

This is the part where I sit back and tell myself "small sample size."

...over and over again.:scared:

My reaction exactly.

I guess most doctors are married to their work 😳

I guess...a lot of them seemed to say or imply that they weren't sure it was worth it. At least two of them left medicine altogether and one guy was working as an 'itinerant doctor' meaning he got work wherever he could find it on a non-regular basis.

I will say this, though: the optho and anesthesiologist guys looked generally happier than the rest.

Yeah, yeah exactly. I badly want to know how these 7 were chosen. Or if there were others who dropped out that might have had slightly more uplifting stories.

Or maybe Harvard really isn't that great of a place to be?

I mean, I have no idea.
