I've confined myself to a treadmill in the gym for most of the winter... and I continue to do so now with this total crap weather. Here's to feeling like a gerbil.. 😉

Though I do get the advantage of being able to set my pace. So I know I'm running at at a 6:30 minute-mile for a half hour, kind of thing. It's sorta like speed-distance training without having to worry about traffic. But.. it's not the same 🙁

Yeah, I use a treadmill during the winter too, but it just gets so repetitive. Plus, mine is facing the wall, so I don't even have anything interesting to look at.

Getting fresh air and dodging traffic keeps me on my toes 😛
 
And TOPPER gets burned again...

One of her prospects called to say that they are going to JuCo instead of coming here as a freshman.

Which means they will be coming in with our transfer recruiter.

I have the added benefit of being able to watch TV while I run. So I can watch SportsCenter in the morning and in the late afternoons 😀 Heck, one of the TVs even is on C-SPAN so if I want to watch Rush Limbaugh talk, I can. It's the only way I can actually bear the boredom of being a human gerbil, won't lie.

I like the treadmill+TV combo.
 
phew...just finished sending fin aid to a few schools...leaving work...home to change...and then to the gym!!!!!

ugh I sat on my butt & I just realized Pitt's deadline in the 16th so i need to get moving. I guess I'll overnight my tax returns tomorrow.

ehh it's ok. I'm more focused on Cornell's deadline. I just wanted to compare it to Pitt's but I won't throw myself off a cliff if I miss the Pitt deadline. (I'm lookin out for you Chuck :laugh:)

Yes I did. I am really surprised that he responded the way he did. Surprisingly he did the right thing because they portrayed him very well.

I liked the season opener, but I laughed a lot at last week's episode. The ripping of Carlos Mencia was even funnier than Kanye West, IMO :laugh:
 
I assume I don't have a deadline with needaccess at schools where I haven't been accepted. That'd be kind of stupid. Haha. (None of the schools that accepted me required it).

I'll get it in this weekend.

IDk both were pretty good. IMO the Mencia clip was funny because he got stomped by Kanye.
