Anyway, I have a comfortable margin for an A.

Oh and UF doesn't have an A- in their grading scale -- they're implementing the A- after I graduate :meanie:
 
I HATE +/- grading systems. My GPA would've been sooooo much better if I hadn't gotten B- in physics both times because my Honors program advisor wouldn't let a dumb freshman who didn't know any better switch. Damn that calc-based nonsense.

That's awesome Nola, there are few better things than going into a final knowing you only have to answer half of the questions correctly.👍

P90X is VERY persuasive.

I would try it if I wasn't broke. My friend has it, he lost 15 pounds and an inch or so off his waist in the first few weeks. It works. It's a high intensity cardio routine mixed with body weight/low weight high reps.
It'll get you shredded but bulking isn't going to be a typical result. If you are already packing a lot of muscle and want to lose the fat covering, I'd advise it, but otherwise, weights and protein shakes my friend!


Also, what cartoons were you watching? And I've been to Hershey once on my drive to New Jersey. Too cold, too far North for me. Good luck with that one!


Oh and lastly, Deadpool rocks, the new Wolverine movie supposedly is awful, and hello everyone, this is my first post on this thread!

I'm doing P90X. You can download it from BitTorrent or whatever torrent service for free and burn it onto DVDs. Definitely worth the effort, but agreed: not for those who are looking to bulk up. Its fun though!

Huh. You know, this is the first time this cycle it has dawned on me that if I stay in Florida, I will be working with an older patient population.

(To be fair, I live in a college town, so that's probably why)

Did you ever get any B+ grades? Without +/-, those would have been plain B's and your GPA would go down anyway.

I just spent the past 15 minutes digging around a -80 C freezer (without gloves) looking for these blood samples from 10 years ago. And they weren't even in there 🙁

My hands are going to get frostbite...

It wouldn't have cancelled out unless I got B+ in two lab courses, and no: I got B's in calculus and A's in everything else. It just irritated me and was pretty lame that the grade came out to be a 2.67 for those classes.

I actually caved and watched it this weekend (though not of my own free will). The acting was terrible in that movie. Absolutely terrible. But as a female, the lead actor wasn't too hard for me to look at 😀
