Now I just threaten him with things. if he doesn't like something (say a certain person from the internet coming to visit :laugh:) I'll say "oh really? because I looked down at my ring finger today and I didn't see a wedding ring... so if you don't like it upgrade the rock on my finger!"

I was at the game when Jump Around started... vs Purdue with Drew Brees at night... when it first happened, the people at the nearby geo building recorded a 5.8 earthquake haha. It was awesome.

Mr. Nola's 18 year old step-sister brought up engagement rings the other day while we were at the beach (as a general topic) and she started asking me what I thought was attractive in engagement rings.

That was a fun game... Drew Brees set like 5 passing records that game... then threw a pick 6 to Jamar Fletcher and lost the game in the 4th quarter... that was the loudest thing I have ever heard haha. It was amazing.

Nice, I always hated Purdue. I was at the game where the Badgers squashed Kyle Orton's Heisman hopes by absolutely dismantling him. He left the game hurt, both physically and emotionally.:meanie:

he's doing great. He's working right now, doing odd jobs & such, but he will be starting law school in September. It looks like he might be in Manhattan with me too, which would be very nice. We'll both be really busy but we can be there when we need each other, which is something I didn't have in Boston!

I discovered that a few weeks ago! I didn't realize it hadn't been "revealed" yet. I sorted all of my teacher friends, adult friends, and my brother into one group so I can hide my pics and status from them.... hence my various inappropriate status messages lol

😛 Nah. Still waiting to hear from UF about finaid.

They also have a lot of scholarships listed on their website that my mom thinks I should call about (note: these scholarships are listed without amounts, or who they're for, etc.).

Honestly, to me, it kind of looks like these scholarships are simply the aid that they disburse each year (no application required). But we'll see.

I'll call after the mail arrives at 1:30.

yea my family is kind of tight right now dealing with all of this financial aid stuff. It's making my head hurt... and I want to :slap: my mother right about now 😀

For me it's a "If only I was such a F**k up my freshman and sophomore years and actually cared about grades. But that's such way back hind sight that I'm mostly just "Eh. I tried!"

If I take every dime they are giving this year, and my package is similar over all 4 years, I'll have payments of approximately $2000 a month for the first 10 years of my career.

Sigh.
