OK, so I lied and that post was a total waste of time for everyone. Sorry, I know, I suck. Here's what happened:

I went to withdraw from UM yesterday and then they offered me more money than I could reasonably refuse. AND, now me, my boyfriend, and my parents are all on the same page. And that is pretty much worth more than the $$.

AND. I will be living sufficiently far from home (6 hours).

UM as in michigan or miami?...nvm, I guess its miami with the 6 hour deal...congrats!
 
I love when I get slammed for reacting to someone stating people from my undergrad aren't "the smartest" people by defending my choice to go to a lower-ranked state school for a scholarship and then someone else (a freshman, no less) responds back with "that's why you're praying to get into UMD". Wonderful.

Ehh dont worry about it too much...If anyone tries to talk **** to me, i just laugh (thats right kid I went to college for free and am still going to med school, same school that a crap load of duke, UNC, harvard, and other ivy school kids are going to)....how about them apples? haha

Uncertainty because it says "My reason for wanting to contact you is to offer you acceptance to Washington University School of Medicine." which is not quite a direct "You're in!" but if it isn't, they're cruel. They're out of the office this afternoon because of graduation, but by Monday I should have the definite details! 😀

I would say "to offer you acceptance" sounds like a pretty done deal to me. 😀
