Class of 2013!!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
 "like most pre-meds, I am impressed by large numbers." Myuu One of my new favorite quotes. That may even reach fb recognition.

Wow, that's great

Thanks guys.😳

The clinic here has a "Falcon cam" as there is a Peregrine Falcon that nests on top of one of the buildings. The momma just brought home a pigeon for lunch.

That is awesome. Maybe not the pigeon bit, but still...!

haha, no it wasn't. it was in response to / parody of "like most pre-meds, I am impressed by large numbers." Myuu One of my new favorite quotes. That may even reach fb recognition."

... and falcons aren't random?

That was random.

It's pretty cool; there are three little falcon chicks. Watching them vie for being fed by the mother is pretty entertaining. Surprisingly less of a blood bath than you'd expect.

Alright, I'm out of here. Perhaps, I will return this evening, but bye-bye for now.

so, we ordered from schwan's yesterday. I get home to find my monster mania ice cream pizza in the freezer.

Screw roast beef - ice cream pizza is still pizza! hahahaha yum dinner.

I come back from work and we aren't even on the next page!!! :nono:

funky,

you have some really strange perceptions of diff cities/locales haha.
Yep, I do. I loved Hanover, yet I hated UES Manhattan... I truly am funky:laugh:
Saw this license plate on my way in this morning. Just about died.

Looks like I'm going to accompany my brother on his drive out to Los Angeles. Travel distance 1991 miles! I wish there was a "trucking" smiley. So we're going to leave next Wednesday. I wish I would be able to spend some time with him out there but I have to work the weekend, so I will be flying right back on Friday. Worry not fellow 2013ers I will be flying out at the end of June to visit him.
Yay we will be in the same city!
Try 9000 characters. I did (slash and burn that is).
Mine started out at 9300 characters... Its last revision was down to 4650ish for TMDSAS.
Ever since I was a young boy, I've dreamt of going to dental school. I've changed my mind at least a dozen times since then, but now I know I'm certain--I'm in for the long haul--I'm going to be a nurse.

etc?
🤣
I can finally post in this thread. YAY
Yay, but your username is gonna make it confusing for sure...
I come back from work and we aren't even on the next page!!! :nono:

The reports on Mo Williams this afternoon have resurrected a long standing confusion in me. I've never understood the guaranteeing of victories in sports. I suppose I should further define this. More accurately, I've never understood guarantees from role players. I could understand if someone like Lebron or Kobe guaranteeing a win, as these players can actually take over a game. They have the ability to dictate the course of a game.

Furthermore, what do these actual marquee players think about the guarantees made by the role players? Right now is Lebron pissed? Is he thinking Mo what the eff? Let's be honest, the pressure right now is not on Mo Williams, it's on Lebron.

If I were one of these top tier players, first of all I would never guarantee anything. The whole notion has lost its novelty. Second of all, I would spread that sentiment throughout my locker room. This is not to say that I would want to disallow unbridled confidence. I believe that guarantees made by key players are legit, these guarantees made by role players reek of fear.

That is my rambling for tonight.

Hmm, I wish I would have actually constructed this thought process, rather than just typing a stream of consciousness. Oh well.

I was reading the general surgery forum. It is both exciting and depressing... I feel bipolar now...

Blah, I should be doing my homework...

why is it exciting and depressing?

Exciting because I want to do surgery, and be able to understand the jargon.

Depressing because life as a surgeon sucks... apparently Grey's Anatomy is not an accurate representation of the life as a surgeon...who knew🙄

magic should foul and hold for the last shot. that would be series over
