ok...must hit gym very early in morning...so off to bed I go

Oh yeah time to announce where I am going after long debate...(but I still have my name on one waitlist...for some reason)

so at UCSD orientation starts on August 31...classes start on Sept 8th

Tell me about it! Kobe was on him, but he slipped free. We played terrible perimeter defense. I am just glad we got out with the W.

Kobe was... oh and BTW, he totally held Lee at the start of that play... but then, Kobe was fouled by Howard on Turkoglu's block on the other end of the court, so I guess it's even.

I didn't mean for it to sound like that was the reason I don't like him. I really came to dislike him during the Cleveland series (my first time really watching Howard).

Why is no one ever on this late?!?! Well, I know the answer to that, but whatever 😛

Night shift again.....it's got me thinking about EM. So weird.

A doctor told me to apply to here (Chi-town) for residency...... although I know it was just a nice thing to say and/or small talk, in the back of my mind I had a mini-freak out thinking "WAIT. I'm going to med school?!?!" :smack:

All the TX schools (including Baylor) made some pact that they don't offer positions to people who already hold a spot at another TX school past June 15th (well, they can but only if they get the permission from the accepted school's dean 😕 ). I wrote Baylor, but I never understood why they invited me to interview in the first place :laugh: I talked on the phone with UTH twice, and both times the dean asked if I had an acceptance elsewhere.

So I'm not expecting anything in the next 5 days 🙂

I used to be all "Omg I'm never considering EM!" but now it's an option. I'm also seriously considering Anesthesiology. I can't wait to be in med school and really learn more about the different specialties. People keep asking me what kind of doctor I want to be and I'm always like "Uh... I dunno? Ask me again when I actually know something?"

I used to really, really want to do Ob/Gyn but the more I hear about the lifestyle, the less I want to do that to myself.

Morning quirks 🙂 Going to work, soon??

I know how you feel....I used to be 100% sure I was doing peds, but I like IM as well, so med/peds is an option and so is family medicine but I have no interest in surgery and etc. 😕

And ob/gyn was a distant dream of mine, but ever since I nannied for one I realized their lifestyle did not interest me. But I guess we'll see when we get there 🙂

I don't even look like her-she is my maternal grandmother, and I pretty much look like my father's side of the family.

Besides the fact that I don't have wrinkles and liver spots. 😆

We have practically no medical people in my immediate or extended family. So everytime I anwser I dunno to obscure relatives they give me a look like I'm some sort of screwup.:laugh:

This is always everyone's first question. I have no freakin clue anymore. I just tell them surgery so they are satisfied.

mornign guys...my training with the NYLF program starts today.

off to get part of my workout in at the gym

must workout since have not worked out since thursday

have training all day from 8:30 till 5:30...then off to gym for lifting session

then dinner

rinse and repeat

what up raaska 😍 :laugh:

Oh and guess what raaska...OMBD calls me DEAR...:laugh:

And I am guessing since I convinced some people I was smart enough to get into med school that I am good at the bs 🙄

Morning! Not going to work soon. Just up early. Have some post office errands to run before I head to work too.

I actually am interested in surgery, except for the hours! I love working with my hands.

:laugh: Yeah, I think a lot of people don't realize that there aren't really majors or anything in medical school, so you have time to make up your mind.

haha, I never thought about how med school didn't have a "major" We all go through the same stuff.

I would probably be "undecided" for 3 years 🙂
 
Well now it's getting a bit better. This time I was ASKED if I was the daughter or granddaughter 🙂
 
These foolios put the cardio equipment away and are not bringing it out till tomorrow.

so that meant NO CARDIO this morning

Problem: I did not eat this morning since I was ONLY planning on doing cardio this morning...lifting this afternoon...well...had to switch that up and I ended up getting in a "partial" lift session (boooooooooooooooo 😡😡😡😡) with NO energy

OMBD...hold me :laugh::laugh::laugh:

ok...rant over

going to go shower for training...woo hoo!
