Nope... I am just bored... We have to watch clips of these Turkish TV shows and translate them, and I am having a hard time... plus my senioritis is not letting me do my work either...

Ugh, I still have not decided what kind of laptop I want yet. I'm trying to get all my forms for school ready before I worry about that.

I'm getting my PPD test read today, so that should take care of all my health forms. Then I still have financial aid, dorm, and residency papers to file. Apparently, proving that I live in NY is more difficult than I envisioned 😳

Oh! I decided this weekend that I'm going to teach myself Turkish! 😀 I've bought some stuff off amazon and, well, we'll see how it goes! I figure I have several native speakers on hand so it shouldn't be too difficult to have a good basic grasp of it in about a year (I want to go back next summer if I can; last chance to easily co-ordinate a trip with my bf for, well, a long time).


Also, I'm up for a NYC meet up! 😀 I'm less than two hours away by train, and I'll be here till mid/late July. Austin's a bit far for me.
 
Ah, new iPhone, as expected. It's getting harder and harder to wait for an Android phone that I like, but I heart Google and I really like Android...

:laugh: I'm considering doing the same thing too. I'm going to evaluate my resources at the end of summer and decide. Perhaps, I'll just get an iMac and use that as my "home" computer.

Yeah, I'm waiting till the end of summer to make a definite decision too, Swarley. Maybe I'll wait till Black Friday if I can hold out long enough, but I am none too thrilled about the computer I'll be getting. Its for test administration though so I have to get it 🙁

My required computer is roughly $1600 and doesn't include an optical drive. I believe there are quite a few students upset at this requirement (this is the first year p.s.)

😱 Ouch. I'm sorry. That kind of sucks.

I'm hoping to be able to get by with just my netbook, but I have been entertaining the idea of building a desktop for some light gaming (and I was planning on buying a monitor anyway).

My thoughts exactly; but don't worry you can buy one along with the PC for an additional $200. Like that's going to happen. I guess I wouldn't be so sour if I didn't have this previous plan to splurge on a Macbook Pro.
