Haha, he just put out a column that was a letter addressed to Blake Griffin. It was pretty damn funny and kinda spooky as far as how screwed the Clippers history has been.

you guys are pretty active today...but then again you guys just might have been active in this thread for a while; I just have not had time to post on here.

Anyways, I am at the airport in Providence right now...getting ready to head down to Philadelphia for a little more than a day.


Oh yeah: Continental is still relatively cheap from LA to both Houston and Austin. So, if the price holds I will find a way to incorporate it in to my trip. Hey Raaska do you know if Amtrak travels between Houston and Austin? If so, then I could fly in to houston and either drive or take the train to Austin...then go back to h-town...visit with family...then fly to ATL and meet up with a few friends down there...and then head back to LA before my family reunion at the end of July.

I am trying to work it out in my head now

Anyways, I had better board now. I will talk to you guys tonight!!!! cya

looks like the amtrak service runs from Houston to San Antonio then to Austin, no direct service 🙁 It would take 8 hours or more, while the drive is 2.5 :smack:

Renting a car is an option....or another option might be flying Southwest, but that flys into Houston Hobby

Well I'm obviously assuming they keep him, which i think they will; I think, given the opportunity to make themselves the prohibitive favorites, they'll go over the tax line. And Vince actually looked like he gave a crap when he was on a team that was going somewhere.

i think it would work with hedo

dwight rashard hedo vince nelson, thats basically 5 all stars. no 7 footers but they can ALL run the pick and roll with dwight. the ball would go to nelson/hedo.

only problem i see is the depleted bench

no courtney lee, no gortat (most likely), no rafer. probly getting rid of JJ

they would have to draft well


I think the Nets will be a better team too

Long-term it makes sense for the Nets, sure.

Why wouldn't they bring back Gortat? I mean hell, if you're gonna go over the tax to try and win, might as well REALLY go all in, right? Anthony Johnson might not opt out now that Alston is gone, he can still give you 10-15 minutes. They still have Pietrus. Johnson, Pietrus, Gortat and Redick would be a reasonable bench crew. And in the playoffs teams usually only go 8 or 9 deep anyways.

I like it, but my bedroom next year is almost certainly going to be bigger than my current one, and the extra room has been nice (slept in a Twin all my life till this past year). I am sending my registration for the Biochem review as I .... type. 🙂 Definitely not doing the Anatomy 🙁 considering that :
1. Have to buy all my furniture within two weeks.
2. Go to the public health clinic and get my physical, titers, etc.
3. Get my apartment completely ready.
4. Buy school books and equipment, make sure I have all my forms, etc.
5. Make sure I am not lame with my classmates and socialize...I don't want them to think I don't care, but I just have so much crap to do 😡
So yeah one biochem class 9-12, for two weeks. I am wary of it though, I want to see what it is like and get the feel, but I don't know how much after school time I can dedicate to it :scared: And I don't want to come off as a slacker already! Which I think is inevitable, since I am probably skipping the last day to meet the boys in Austin 😀
