I should just embrace it, shouldn't I? I mean, there's lots of girls who've been planning their weddings since they knew what they were. It's okay for me to be rather fond of the idea of getting married, right?

Funny thing is I don't want the wedding so much as the being married and living together part. And the social recognition of the relationship as something substantial.

I can't stand wall to wall carpeting, but I can't find an affordable 2 bedroom/2 bathroom near a metro stop that has hardwood floors. 🙁 Found a few 2 bedroom/1 bathrooms, but they're all in smaller buildings. It's like all the nice, big buildings think carpeting is a must have feature or something, but it's not! It's evil.

2 bed/1 bath is nice, but 2 bed/2 bath is awesome! 😀 And barely costs us extra. I can't believe the prices we're finding. Cheaper than my current 1 bedroom!

I am odd and like carpet-vacuuming always feels cleaner than mopping. And since I am slightly OCD, a mopped floor still doesn't feel clean to me 🙁

And that's so weird that you think carpets feel clear! I'm slightly OCD and like hardwood floors because I feel like I can't quite get a carpet clean enough. I guess it's okay either way then.

Credit cards are only abominations if you use them as such. I have one but I only use it when, for example, I need to buy something but have drained my checking account and don't have time to wait to transfer money from my savings account. And then I pay off the card as soon as I've moved the money/got my next pay check.

I need to get a Rewards card. I hear those are cool, and I like free stuff.
