I've been humming and hawing about doing that all summer, but I just can't bring myself to spend some of my Last Summer learning the stuff I'm gonna be learning anyways in a few months. And since Baylor is P/F (though granted, with some internal tracking for AMA and probably stuff that will show up on the dean's letter), I don't see the point really.

Ah. I'm totally NOT P/F (more like ABCDF). and being a music major, I'm starting to get a bit antsy. ha.

If SDN's Residency Match articles are to be believed, preclinical grades aren't that big of a deal. But I've gotta admit, while I'm kinda wanting to just chill out, part of me feels like I should be doing SOMETHING to get ready... that talk about me saying it doesn't matter is just my way of talking myself into what I want to believe 😛

last session for me coming to a close...the scholars leave Tuesday then I head up to Montreal for the Jazz Festival

Well can you blame me for believing what want to believe? 😛

I'm gonna be working my butt off for the next 4 years plus residency, and it's not like being a full doctor is going to be a walk in the park either; as much as my inner gunner wants to make sure I do as well as I can to not flunk out of med school now that I'm in, no way am I going to squander these last 3 weeks of fun trying to get a tiny leg up on the race.

Yeah, that's where I'm at. Makes being top 10% of the class feel that much more unattainable...

We're H/HP/P/F all four years, and that still can't motivate me to study during the summer. It'll have my complete attention once school official starts.
