Exciting!

By this time Friday, I will be out of my apartment and on my way to Seattle. 😱 I have to come into work tomorrow to meet with my PI one last time. 🙁 But it should be short and hopefully will go smoothly. So I'm going to wake up early, pack and clean, come to work (eat lunch while I walk home?), shower, pack and clean some more. Sleep? Then doing at fMRI study at 7:45am (I couldn't resist the extra $150 😀) then out of here by noon!

I can't decide if I should travel with one or two suitcases. It's much easier to travel with just one (esp. since I'll have to carry Chu in her kennel), but then I'll have to live off just that one suitcase in St Louis till my boxes arrive (hopefully only a day or two after I get there). I think I'm leaning toward traveling light...

hahaha that's funny. I don't know what mine looks like.. we took the pics on interview day but don't get the actual ID until orientation.We just got the ID number.

I had a ton of crap. Not anymore! 😀 But I'm traveling by plane and shipping the excess, so only the things I'm really, really attached to are coming with me.

I'm dreading when Mr. Quirks moves out from college at the end of next school year... He's a worse pack rat than I am!

I cleaned out my fridge today and most of my furniture's gone. Sleeping on an un-inflated air mattress tonight (cheap $10 mattress, no pump. But hey, it's something, right? 😳). Can't wait till Friday night! Real bed and no more packing.

my dad owns a construction company, so one of his american workers is driving it and the mexicans are loading/unloading.
