OMG less than 15 hrs!
Is this whole idea still absolutely crazy to you guys too? its like I'm living in a dream.
I get to avoid cooking in med school. There's a ton of restaurants/delis/fast food between my house and school.

I felt this way the entire time that I was packing and moving. Now that orientation and almost a full week of classes are over, I am much more comfortable with the idea of being in med school. 🙂 But I definitely had the feeling of being in a bizarre dream for about a month.
K, that makes me feel more normal 🙂
I think these feelings are very common. For me, actually driving the u-haul to my new city might have been the point of maximum surreality. Getting my apartment in order helped a lot, though, as did the white coat ceremony, which included reading an oath that our class wrote. Good luck!
I settled on worlds wildest vacation videos.
aww I'm so jealous 🙁 Have fun without me! I expect drunk dials... Chubby has my digitsEVERYBODYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY............SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS SHAUSHAUSHOTS SHOTS SHOTS

I was just reading the posts in this thread backwards up and it doesn't make any sense at all.Anyway, good luck to everyone who is moving! I don't officially move until 2 more weeks, since orientation doesn't start until mid-August.
what's up OMBD...all moved?
1st leg of my trip to Austin (LAX to Houston) in 7 hrs 15 min!!!!!
Just like Lil John and LMFAO off say: SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS SHAUSHAU SHOTS!!!!
ohhhhhhhh the craziness is nearing
awww I wish I could have held it down with y'all (that's my attempt at a southern accent for you haha). We'll have to do it again in NY 👍I just still can't believe it's going to be Chubbs, Chubbs' friend, Swarley, Azn, Rice.....
and ME?!!?
I wish you were going to be there too Lyss 🙁 But I am glad you ok'ed the drunk dialing, since I was planning on stopping people from drunk dialing, drunk posting, drunk getting naked 😳
Whoo! I had my last day at work today!
And now I have to finish packing up my apartment. I have... ten hours till I need to be done.
But I think I'll be fine. I've sorted through my stuff and now it's just a matter of putting it all in boxes.
Anyone know what is actually responsible for fatigue?
my poor daddy is so nervous. its precious.
About the move? That's cute. 🙂
4.5 hours left to get everything done in a timely "No panicking necessary!" way. I think I'm in good shape. Honestly, I thought this would be a lot harder. Being willing to toss a lot of stuff has helped. I just hope I can convince the Salvation Army to do a pick up tomorrow... Or maybe I'll have my building let them into my apartment whenever they're next doing rounds.
So tired. 😴
Nevermind, I found Value City.
Have you been working out?Why do my neurons become TIRED?
AgreedMove this to Allopathic.
Hey! What types of events does Cornell have planned for you during orientation?awww I wish I could have held it down with y'all (that's my attempt at a southern accent for you haha). We'll have to do it again in NY 👍
I welcome all forms of drunk communication... although I do need a warning before drunk nudity![]()
Same here. I need some more space to stretch out and get wild (I do quite a bit of shifting when I am trying to get to bed)Sigh. They are only providing a standard twin bed in my student housing.

heyyyyyyyyyyy I am in Austin now...getting ready to work it out...I could not pass up the chance to work out in an awesome hotel workout facility. It is sweet...Then I guess I we will all meet up some time today/tonight.
Have fun!
I'm on a plane. 😎 On my way to milwaukee, then to seattle. Getting Chu on the plane wasn't a hassle at all (but leaving my apartment was. I almost cried a few times. Moving is really not something to do on your own. Thankfully Mr. Quirks did what he could and managed to get my airport shuttle to wait for me so I didn't miss my flight) and she's behaving well. I think she's finally falling asleep. She sat on my arm when I walked through the metal detector (cage had to go through xray) and she didn't throw a fit when I put her back in.
Now if only the toddler in front of me would fall asleep to... I didn't sleep last night. I'm exhausted. But that kid keeps waking me up.
I knew I had stairs... I didn't know how bad my legs would hurt tonight.
