Matt and I decided that I have a friendly face or something and he always looks pissed off, because random and weird ppl..for some reason...like to start convos with me.

Get better! I have decided this is not the week for SDNers....I woke up today sick as heck, but went to orientation anyways. Came home and took my temp-102 ftl 🙁 Just woke up...

raaska wants to go to NYC in the winter time. We will see. If that plan actually comes to fruition you, as queen hooch...:laugh:..., will have to make all the plans....including pregaming since drinks are really expensive in NYC.

I would love to see you interact with Matt...that would be awesome

I've been having fun playing house girlfriend, though I'm not sure I could do this for longer than two weeks, maybe a month, at a time. I admit, sometimes when I'm taking a walk and I see the moms with their kids in the park, a part of me is a bit sad that that's pretty much never going to be me, except for on a rare day off or something, but at the same time... I don't want to do that all the time. 😳

Is it can be med school tiems yet?
 
Wow it is a really slow day today...

I have been rather MIA because I am relishing in the last few weeks of summer by playing videogames...

In two weeks from tomorrow, I am heading out to Dallas...

I missed the call by 1 minute! 1 Minute!!! Uh I was kinda wasted in a club and then I remembered to check my fone. But yes I did get the message. My friends thought I was crazy because I was laughing so hard.

If you guys come down to NY I promise I will take good care of ya. Fun times for all!

Good news: I uploaded the pictures from the trip. I have strep throat and my parents are coming into town in 3 hours, so I had to do it now or they would just stay on my camera.

Bad news: I made them so that my "SDN group" on fb are the only ones who could see them. I got a long, scary lecture about "professionalism" in medical school, so they are super private. So if you want to see them, friend me! When you click on the Class of 2013 group, it will say over 200 new photos. Every which way I did it, the photos would load scrambled and/or backwards. And it wouldn't make sense since my really not funny or entertaining commentary wouldn't make sense. So they are NOT in the group.

SO to see pictures:

Go to my profile, click the tab that says "Photos" and the album is "Yessing 2009"

Ok, i dunno if anyone's on tonight, but i wanted to take a poll of what kind of stethoscope everyone was thinking about getting. Im torn between the Welch Allyn 'Harvey Elite' and the Littmann 'Cardiology III'.

I kind of want to go with the Welch Allyn, just to be unique. EVERYONE gets the littmanns, you know?

I think Im gonna order it tomorrow.

I really want to wear it around my neck..:meanie:

So the info I was sent on medical equipment suggests either the Littman Cardiology III or the Master Cardiology. Is the Master Cardiology overkill? I'm finding that it's not too much more expensive (and Mr. Quirks is paying), and it has an extra two years of warranty. I admit, I tend to go for the higher end when buying things like this. Any reason not to?

the only thing about the master cardiology is that it isn't a double sided bell. A doc I was talking to told me not to go with it because it's hard to learn on.
