What kind? I'm pretty set on getting a 12 gauge so I can go bird hunting. I'll have to limit myself for now tho.. That darn thing called money.

12-gauge pump, 4-10 bolt, 30-30 lever and a .22 lever.

I've been kicking around buying a handgun to fool around with, but I may just wait until after medschool for that.

Haha, I was just thinking this the other day. I have one big box just for my trinkets. Moving is gonna suck 🙁
 
So I came in 4th for my age group, not bad...too bad i fell apart on the run.

im paying $425 for rent, which includes internet, water, gas, electricity. No cable TV tho.
I posted a lot of pictures of my room on facebook. I will admit that I am very happily surprised with the female roommate I have met so far. One more to meet on the way...

i got rained on today...doesnt make my head hurt...but it made my outfit completely drenched!
i went out for a quick clip on the bike for some routine exploration and got caught in a downpour. i think im learning more about my surrounding areas by cycling through them vs driving through them. I go slower and can take time to look at where im going.
Is anybody else getting lost in their new 'hood??
 
I got lost plenty before I actually moved here. so far I'm good now, but I'm sticking to main roads.

my grandpa's not feeling too well today. lots of bleeding from his kidney that is stented. they go to thehospital in the morning if he holds his own thru the night. I hope they don't have to tube that side too 🙁

4th is still pretty damn good. I don't think you have anything to be ashamed of.

i was in south jersey with myparents just to chill on the beach pretty much.

hahaha yeah be happy youre not a girl. my dad was amazed that we filled a 10 foot uhaul truck from a place i only spent a year in and my boyfriend two years (but he had very little... )

sigh.. do you need a car?
i was thinking that people in nyc can afford to pay such crazy rents (im paying $2095 for a studio... 525sq ft or so)because we dont need cars and therefore no car payments or insurance payments...

Retreat social thingy tomorrow and Tuesday, then various and sundry boring stuff the rest of the week (ie, I don't really know yet).

It was raining in TX to, such a nice change from our 100+ degree weather 🙂

Ours was a mix of faculty coming in saying they were super excited to have us and then the staff telling us what to do when we fail or start having the rough time we ALL will go through :laugh:
