my grandpa is doing much better. he actually was just really off on his coumadin levels and his clotting times were way off.

In other happy news, books came today in the mail. AND I found netter's anatomy coloring book at borders!
 
So i just checked my official times from yesterdays race. Originaly, i thought i was in the 20-29 age group but it really was the 20-24 group..so i actually placed 1st! haha..not that that changes anything.

500 yard swim(1st in age, 7th overall)...12 mile bike (1st in age group, 22nd overall...3.1 mile run (too crappy to tell.)

ahhahaha hey ya never kno! The UES is HARD son. I don't even have an escort in the elevator! I have to walk to my room by myself & no one hails cabs for me 🙁

It's hard out here for a pimp...

The few times I have needed a cab in UES I have called a car service instead because I just was not feeling walking 5 or so blocks looking for a taxi 😉 Does that make me a snob? I think not.

I am willing to bet you can buy one from the student book store.

If you feel like throwing caution to the wind and erring on the frugal side, I am sure you can get one for cheep ~3-5 blocks away from the med school (in any direction).

I guess the bright side is Baltimore/Hopkins is a great place to learn medicine.

And yes, you should drive to nicer parts of Baltimore to cycle around... Unless you're fine with circling the hospital until you get tired.

yeah im in need of a car here in hershey PA. I live about 3miles from campus so its kind of a necessity of sorts. Luckily, it runs great, and my insurance is only $25/month. Plus it makes running errands soooo much more simple (my former life in Miami as an undergrad didnt involve a car and simple things like going to the post office were always more complicated than they had to be). Oh and btw, I'm paying $425/month for a HUGE place...i got lucky.

I think car service is a bit of a ripoff, but it depends on where you're going, I guess.

everyone is starting school now!!!

What's up guys...sorry I've been kind of MIA. I was up in the Bay area for my family reunion. Kind of weird being up there, especially after once again being so close to what was my dream school.

Whatevs, I am happy

anyways...just stopping in to say WHAT'S UP to EVERYONE!!!!

I am on my way back down to SD in like 20 minutes to put a hold on a 1 bedroom apt just in case these two dudes with whom 🙂laugh:hahahahaha if only MATT were on SDN to make fun of the fact I just used that word) I plan to room keep dragging their feet.

But I am excited to get to Texas. 😀 Raaksa, do you know how long the rain is supposed to last... I dislike the rain...

I got the routine service for my car, since we will be driving it there, but the toyota people wanted me to get this extra stuff that would cost an additional 900 bucks. I was not sure if I was getting taken advantage so I just said no, but now I am wondering whether that was a wise choice...

I hate that, it's so hard to find a car place that just tells it like it is.
