my liver is done for...

we have to take a wellness profile at the fitness center this week and find out everything about our level of in shape-ness. FML. This might be depressing :laugh:.

I still have no clue what we're doing at my orientation. I could ask my neighbor... but I perfer to live in my fantasy that we're gonig to roll in at 10am receive a free bagle, listen to a few <30min presentations and go home.

hehe no schedule yet?
we have a schedule, but i really dont think itll be much differnt than your fantasy but they may make us walk around and go to differnt places :laugh:

sup guys...everyone is starting school...I am working on my active studying techniques...

I know for sure that sat before classes begin I will be heavy in the books for 6hrs each day...especially since I have an exam the following freaking week 😡
 
I just wasted an hour of my life in the initial didactic lecture for out PBL... it was like, "This is PubMed. This is MD Consult. This is uptodate... blah blah blah..."

BTW, just a reminder for anyone who hadn't heard, sometime this month we're probably going to open a brand-spankin new c/o 2013 thread in the Allo forum 🙂

So, my first day of lecture was going well... then I got an email entitled "please see me ASAP" from the Dean of Admissions. Well needless to say I freaked out for a minute... then opened the email to find that he wanted to see me about some additional scholarship money he allocated for me...

After classes were over, I went to his office. It turns out the "little additional scholarship money" is almost 10k a year! 😱 :soexcited: Between this and my other school scholarship, I've got tuition paid for!!

God is SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to exchange my white coat. The L tall didn't quite cut it and looked a bit.... small on me. So I got an XL tall today. Made some new friends. YAY for med school!
