Was during the lecture right after lunch. At first was ok but then I dozed off during the second half of it.

Our day is 8 AM to 5 PM, no breaks except for lunch.... And gonna be like this for the entire year.

Not really but I would probably still go unless if it starts getting really bad. Maybe it will be better tomorrow if there's no thunderstorm tonight.

We go 8-12 starting next week.🙁
 
I'm not sure how long our classes are, all I know is they are recorded and available on the internet👍.

except clinical skills, but that's only once a week.

Don't worry, I will follow you in this. Sometimes I feel that I have borderline narcolepsy because I find it rather easy to fall asleep in class.

Our schedule isn't quite as bad, but we have MTWThF: 9-12 Biochem, and then on MTF: 1-2 Anatomy Lecture 2-5 Anatomy Lab, W: 1-2:30 Small Group/ clinical stuff, and we get Th afternoons off.

We apparently have a 5 tiered system + fail, so it is A, B+, B, C, D, F. D is like a marginal pass and therefore equals fail. Plus we also get a GPA to complement the letter grades so it is like we are still in UG.:lame: My roommate told me that he knows people who have 4.0s and that is basically the same as know people who have gotten honors in all of their classes😱:scared:

Anyone getting cold feet/ second thoughts, cuz I am freaking out...

Today is going to be fun! Less than 2 hours of sleep lol. Med school anxiety or something.

Good morning! :hello:

After a day of classes I have realized that I am surrounded by brainiacs 😱. Our grading is just a straight percentage. I just hope to stay in the top quarter of the class :xf::xf:

Good morning... I apparently have to go get a sleeping bag since our orientation is a retreat about 80 some miles away... And I thought I was done with shopping🙁

I singlehandedly made sure my class would be diverse. I harassed all the minority students I met until they agreed to go to Cornell :laugh:

yep, exactly. I didn't realize how much material we were covering till i sat down and reviewed it last night. in 3 days we've covered the same amount of material that would've taken two weeks or more in my undergrad biochem course :laugh:.
